About National Clinic Dr Chia Hiang Kiat Clementi
National Clinic Dr Chia Hiang Kiat Clementi is a general practice clinic located at 352 Clementi Ave 2, serving residents across Clementi and the surrounding west-side districts. The clinic holds a 4.4/5 rating across 41 Google reviews, a moderate sample that suggests consistent patient experience. No regulatory licences have been submitted to KakiList for this listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, so prospective patients are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration independently before attending.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in or book by phone or online form. A GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore runs approximately S$25–60, with additional charges for investigations such as blood tests, swabs, X-rays, and prescriptions. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans or MediSave should confirm at registration which items are MediSave-claimable under the outpatient S$500 withdrawal limit or the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for eligible conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol. Bring your NRIC and insurance card, and mention any chronic conditions or existing medications at the start of the consultation.
To proceed, contact the clinic directly by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm consultation hours, any appointment requirement, and whether your specific condition or chronic disease management needs can be accommodated before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Service is slow, receptionists are two old ladies. Slow in registering and asked my husband and I multiple questions not relating to medical like “are you a PR, oh why decided to change to citizen”, “you stay nearby?”
First time here for LPA. Dr Chia and staffs are friendly. Just need SingPass and digital signature ready. All done within 15 mins. Waiting is approximately 1 hour though. Quite a popular clinic for elderly… they will be closed for holidays 2nd to 11th Dec 22. Plan and book your visit ahead. $50 for LPA.
Great clinic with a caring doctor. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Take note they can get busy in the mornings and evenings.
Caring and meticulous doctor. On our first visit, Dr. Chia was attending to an emergency case just before my daughter’s consultation. We waited for a while as the ambulance was being summoned, but as we were entering the consultation room after being called, we saw him still fussing over the old lady when being transport away with clear concern in his eyes. He quickly refocused and was soft spoken and gentle with my young daughter. Wonderful doctor.
Dr Chia has always been a very dedicated doctor. He is thorough careful in diagnosing and prescribing drugs. He has been my family doctor since I was young not only for me, but for my grandparents generation as well. Thanks Dr Chia for your effort all these years!

A GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60, with follow-up visits often slightly lower. On top of the consultation fee, expect additional charges for investigations — a basic blood panel S$60–200, a throat or nasal swab S$30–80, a urine dipstick or culture S$20–60, and prescriptions priced per item. GST applies on private medical services. For planned or ongoing care, MediSave can be used to offset outpatient costs under the S$500 per year withdrawal limit (General Outpatient), or up to S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, and asthma. Confirm at reception which items qualify before the consultation ends. See the full GP and 24-hour clinic cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic premises must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm the doctor's registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences have been submitted to this KakiList listing, so patients should conduct both checks independently before attending. Search for the clinic name on the MOH directory and search for "Chia Hiang Kiat" on the SMC register. Neither check alone is sufficient — confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry.
For standard GP outpatient visits, MediSave can be used up to S$500 per year per account holder under the outpatient MediSave withdrawal limit, or S$700 per year if your condition falls under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP). CDMP-listed conditions include hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — your doctor must enrol you in the programme for claims to apply. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP consultations, though some riders provide outpatient benefits — check your specific plan terms with your insurer before the visit. For any planned procedure or specialist referral, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that itemises insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions clearly before proceeding.
