About National Neuroscience Institute NNI

National Neuroscience Institute

Homeowners contacting National Neuroscience Institute NNI typically ask about Brain & Nerves. The team positions itself as a working healthcare outfit rather than a generalist, so you can expect questions about scope, access, and timing before a quote is confirmed.

National Neuroscience Institute NNI covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give National Neuroscience Institute NNI an average of 3.3/5 across 36 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.

If you want to gauge whether National Neuroscience Institute NNI is the right fit for your job, the fastest path is a WhatsApp message with photos of the issue, your postal code, and a rough preferred slot. Most providers on KakiList respond within a few hours during business hours and can quote before scheduling a visit.

I would like to commend Dr Tan Yee Leng of NNI @ Tan Tock Seng. She's very friendly and detailed with the review and took the extra time to explain (with drawing somemore) my situation. She also go the extra mile to help to retrieve my previous record from other hospital. I appreciate and am glad to have met her as my doctor. Highly recommend if you need a neurologist!

The clinic is modern, clean and well maintained. As a public health facility, it looks and feels superior to many other private aged medical centres in Singapore. Staff are polite and helpful. The only gripe is the unpredictable and long waiting time. Why not use SMS notification with number of patients-in-front so we can plan around the wait?

I have had bouts of migraine that have lasted for a whole entire month to even 6 weeks. This has gone on since 2022. As a person who has suffered migraines since 1981 I am not unfamiliar with the trivialisation of healthcare professionals towards my suffering. Laying in bed in the darkness with pain that hurts so much you cannot even get up to drink water is in itself traumatic. But to be re traumatised by the people you would expect to have more empathy AND KNOWLEDGE than any other medical field is a whole new level of pain. If naproxen is all you think is enough then the message I get is the pharmacist at Watson's can serve me just as well as you. To say I'm disappointed barely touches the fringes of every feeling I have about my treatment here.

Our experience with public hospital doctors have been terrible. NNI is no exception. The doctor treated us like idiots. The so called one line diagnosis report is in abbreviations. Can’t even be bothered to spell out in full the medical conditions. We went there with a lot of hope as it was a referral and NNI was supposed to be the leading medical experts only to leave feeling dismissed, confused, lost and hopeless. We were hoping to find someone to support us on this journey even if there may not be a cure but the experience left us depressed. Our experience with private specialists are very very different. I guess there is a difference between being just a salaried employee of a hospital where you can treat your patients carelessly and being a private specialist where the patients pay your costs directly.

I am writing to share my concerns about a recent interaction I had with Maria, a customer service representative. While I understand that Maria may be new to her role, I was disappointed with the level of service she provided. Specifically, I felt that Maria was impatient and dismissive when interacting with elderly customers. She seemed to struggle with guiding them through the process of filling out medical forms, which led to frustration and confusion. Furthermore, Maria's limited proficiency in Chinese and Malay created a language barrier that made it difficult for elderly customers who speak these languages to communicate effectively. I hope that you will take my feedback into consideration and provide Maria with additional training and support to improve her customer service skills, particularly when interacting with elderly customers
