About Neuron Learning Centre
Neuron Learning Centre is a tuition centre located at Thomson Road, Singapore, verified by KakiList. The centre is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), suggesting fees are in line with the broader private tuition market rather than at either extreme.
Families considering Neuron Learning Centre should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the centre covers the relevant MOE primary, secondary, or junior college curriculum, or international syllabuses such as IB or IGCSE. It is worth asking whether sessions are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and pricing. Prospective students are encouraged to arrange a trial class to assess teaching style and level appropriateness before committing to a term. Parents should also confirm whether classes are held in-person at the Thomson Road location or whether online options are available, and clarify the term commitment and notice period required before withdrawing.
To take the next step, reach out to Neuron Learning Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's level and to arrange a trial class.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My child was with them for about 6mths (then 5yo severe ADHD profile with sensory seeking behaviours + Dyslexia). Now he's 6+yo and we have done daily home exercises (prescribed by their specialists) on him for about a year. This proved to be a game changer for us, alot of improvements within the year (in fact within the first day of his session we alrdy saw positive results i.e. his loud and heavy footed steps were worked on and within the day he had less noisy footsteps!) We had weekly sessions for 6 mths and daily homework. The prescribed exercises at the start wasn't so long and we only focused on a few exercises (10-20mins daily). When we were at tail end of our sessions (6 mths mark), my child was ready for more exercises to support the rest of his needs (he was tested to have retained reflexes in ALL aspects). It ranged about an hour daily (aft awhile I managed to do all the exercises in 30mins, I guess you could say we were on autopilot by then). Hsiao, who founded Neural Connections, shared her personal story about her MNRI (a method of reflex integration) journey to help her daughter. She mentioned she did 2+ hrs of daily exercises on her child and saw heaps of positive results. It seems long but it's what kept us going; seeing the results unfold. She has a 3 part story if you're keen to know more about her background (search 'From Despair to Hope' on her website blog). My son still has some residual retained reflexes, yet he is so much more well regulated, has more awareness and learning is clicking so well for him now. I'm exploring more challenging brain exercises to help him in other areas. MNRI was our major stepping stone. When we started mid 2024, I wasn't sure he was ready for P1 in mainstream and considered deferring. And here we are now, confidently preparing him for his P1 in mainstream next year.
Hsiao is very knowledgeable and experienced in the area of mnri and she is always willing to share. Attended the parents workshop which gave many hands on opportunities to learn the techniques to practise with my child at home. I also send my boy for classes at neural connections and i can see a big difference within a few sessions
I really appreciate all the practical aspects from this MNRI Parent Workshop. Hsiao is very knowledgeable and generous in providing helpful tips to use at home. The workbook that came with the course provides detailed steps for each of the exercises. I found a lot of the exercises comforting to my own body, so it’s helpful to have an idea how it would feel to be on the receiving end of the exercise. Thank you so much, Hsiao!!
Hsiao is an incredible instructor! I attended her 2 day parent seminar and learned SO much! Thank you Hsiao for everything you do! You have a wonderful teaching style and are helping so many parents and children :)
Excellent parent workshop, very practical and useful to be applied for my children!

Neuron Learning Centre is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), though specific per-session or monthly fees are not published in their listing. Tuition centres in Singapore typically charge on a per-session basis, as a monthly package, or by school term. Rates in the market generally vary by academic level, group size, and whether sessions are one-to-one or small-group. Additional costs to clarify before enrolment include registration fees, material or workbook charges, and any sibling or package discounts that may apply. It is advisable to ask directly about the trial class fee, as some centres charge for the first session while others offer it complimentary. See the full tuition centre cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class so that students and parents can assess whether the centre is the right fit before signing up for a full term. During a trial session, it is useful to observe whether the pace and difficulty level match the student's current standing, whether the teaching style encourages participation, and whether the student feels comfortable in the environment. When contacting Neuron Learning Centre, ask specifically whether a trial class is available for your child's level, whether there is a fee for the trial, and what the process is for confirming enrolment afterwards. This avoids any misunderstanding about term commitments or fees.
Neuron Learning Centre's listing does not specify the academic background or teaching experience of its tutors. When enquiring, parents are encouraged to ask directly whether tutors hold NIE training or prior MOE school teaching experience, their degree disciplines, and how many years they have been teaching the relevant subject and level. It is also worth confirming which syllabus the tutors are aligned to — whether MOE PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, or an international curriculum such as IB or IGCSE — as this affects how well the instruction maps to the examinations your child will sit. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
