Mothers typically begin by contacting NewBubs Confinement via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss package options, dietary tradition, and delivery logistics. A standard 28-day package covers twice-daily hot delivery — typically lunch (around 11am–1pm) and dinner (around 5pm–7pm) — with meals cooked on the day and delivered within roughly a four-hour window in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers. Shorter trial packages of seven or fourteen days are worth asking about if you want to assess the food before committing to the full duration. Confirm upfront whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the package price or billed separately, as this varies between caterers. It is worth requesting a trial meal before paying the deposit — confinement appetite and personal taste are highly individual.
To get started, reach out to NewBubs Confinement via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current package availability, your intended start date, dietary preferences, and delivery address before placing a booking.
Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
Engaging NewBubs for confinement was the best decision ever. Our confinement nanny (May Quah) allocated to us was knowledgeable and experienced, she guided us through the entire period and not only did she provide comfort for the baby, she also gave us plenty of assurances along the way as first time parents. Whenever I’m up for my nightly pumps, she will prepare hot beverages for me. She’s clean and is a great cook. She takes good care of my dog too! With her easygoing and likeable personality, my family also bonded quickly with her and were sad to see her leave. With this great first time experience with NewBubs, I would highly recommend NewBubs as the number one choice for confinement nannies and will definitely look for May again if I have a second pregnancy.
Our nanny Kien has a very fun loving energy that was very helpful for first time anxious parents like us. She communicates well in person & on WhatsApp to keep us updated on baby’s feeding timings, diaper change etc giving us a peace of mind while we’re resting in another room. She took great care of both baby and I. She was personally invested to feed me well so I can produce good milk for my baby. Overall very accommodating, efficient, experienced & easy going. Would highly recommend her to new mummies & would definitely engage her again should we have a second baby in future! 🤗
We were extremely fortunate to have such an amazing confinement nanny Mei Ling Jie (Chong Moi Leng) with us. She was just like a mother—providing extra care, concern, and genuine warmth throughout her stay. What stood out most was how detailed and patient she was in teaching us everything we needed to know as new parents. From proper feeding techniques, to putting the baby to sleep, to understanding bowel routines, and even showing us how to bathe the baby safely—her priority was always the baby’s well-being. Her kindness and love for our little one were obvious every single day. We felt completely at ease leaving our baby in her care, allowing us to rest well at night without worry. She handled every task with gentleness and professionalism, and our baby adored her too. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, patience, and the peace of mind she gave us. Before the end of contract, she even managed baby’s routines so well that it was a breeze when we took over! Truly an exceptional confinement nanny—highly recommended.
This is the first time for me to consider confinement nanny service and I can say I'm glad to have trusted NewBubs Confinement Agency! From the initial phone call with Lloyd, there was already a good understanding of my needs and they focused on flexible and quality terms of services rather than just discussing costs and rates. Special mention to our assigned professional nanny, Auntie Chris - who made my postpartum/confinement journey smooth and memorable. Aside from her knowledge in taking care of a newborn and looking after me through well planned meals to supporting my breastfeeding choice, she is also proactive and able to connect and establish good chemistry with my other kids and other household members. I would highly recommend her and this agency. Thanks again for this good experience!
Engaged newbubs for our first born for 40 days. The process is very easy with clear instructions and timeline on what to expect. Hua Jie (Flower Sis) was assigned to us. She was really caring towards baby, and patient in teaching us as we are first time parents. Her cooking is really good as well! She also did not give us any problems at all. Really thankful for newbubs and Hua Jie to make our first step in parenting so much easier, we were both able to get ample rest with such an experienced nanny

NewBubs Confinement operates on a package model, consistent with the Singapore confinement food market where a standard 28-day package typically runs S$1,200–2,800 depending on the number of daily trays and what is bundled in. Most caterers price on two trays per day (lunch and dinner); a third tray adding breakfast increases the total. Confirm whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included in the quoted price or billed as add-ons — this distinction can shift the effective cost by several hundred dollars over 28 days. Delivery surcharges may apply for landed properties or addresses further from the central kitchen. Shorter 7-day or 14-day trial packages, where offered, provide a lower-commitment entry point before committing to the full duration. Contact NewBubs Confinement directly for current package pricing. Singapore confinement food catering spans several traditions — Cantonese (the most common, featuring warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and often rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian. It is worth confirming directly with NewBubs Confinement which tradition the kitchen follows, whether the menu rotates day to day or repeats on a weekly cycle, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who may need a low-spice or rice-wine-free option. Before paying any deposit, ask whether a single-day trial meal is available — most reputable caterers offer this at S$30–60. Confinement appetite shifts considerably in the weeks after delivery, and tasting the food in advance is the most reliable way to confirm it suits your palate and recovery needs.
Legitimate confinement food caterers operating in Singapore are required to hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, and the hygiene grade — A being the highest, through to D — should be publicly available. Halal-certified operations additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging and the provider's documentation. NewBubs Confinement's regulatory licences are not currently listed on this KakiList entry, so it is advisable to ask the provider directly for their SFA licence number and hygiene grade before committing. Confinement meals are cooked on the day and delivered hot, typically within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window, in microwave-safe and BPA-free containers. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots, the packaging format, and the policy if a delivery is missed or delayed — a written substitute or refund policy is a reasonable expectation from any established caterer. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
