Families typically begin by enquiring about the upcoming holiday period, their child's age group and interests, and whether any prior knowledge or skill level is expected. Newtonshow Camp runs structured holiday programmes, so it is worth clarifying the camp schedule (daily hours, duration in days, and whether full-week blocks or drop-in days are available), the group size and age range, what materials or equipment are included in the fee, and whether a sibling discount or early-bird rate applies. As a holiday camp, the format is group-based and time-limited rather than a recurring term commitment, which suits families who want structured activity during school holidays without a long-term enrolment.
To take the next step, reach out to Newtonshow Camp via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm the holiday camp schedule, age suitability, group size, and full fee — including any materials or registration charges — before securing a place.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My girls recently completed their one-week holiday camp at Newton Show - JollyMix Multi-Activity and it was a truly wonderful experience. They were so proud to receive their certificates at the end of the week! The camp offered a great variety of activities that encouraged curiosity through play and learning. From hands-on crafts to simple science experiments, the programme was engaging and well thought out. One of their absolute favourites was making slime, they couldn’t stop talking about it! The teachers were engaging, supportive and attentive and it was clear that the children were well cared for throughout the camp. My girls enjoyed every day and always looked forward to going back.
This is a very exciting development camp. The children are always busy playing with other children. The program can be different, but we really liked the multifunctional one. There is a school bus that you can see through the app. In addition, every day you can see new photos of how the children spent the day. It's very cool. My child is looking forward to returning to
This might be good in Singapore but my god, it was absolutely horrible in Johor. The children are given TV for 45mins so that dysregulated them completely. The so called trained facilitators spoke amongst themselves, hardly engaging the kids, are their own food amongst themselves and spoke so poorly - lots of Singlish, poor grammar and fragments in speech. The marketing is so good but what my child brought home - food colouring disguised as magic potions, a chopsticks disguised as a wand and that's it! For a camp that long, it's truly pathetic. Snack was fruits and lunch was teriyaki chicken. They didn't even realised that my son threw his entire lunch away - why? That's because the staff was sitting away from the kids, by themselves and having a staff lunch. My son tried to join the group but the children turned him away so he sat by himself. What makes it worst is that the facilitator of the class LEAVES the children in her care and goes off to the shops nearby to grab her breakfast. In the middle of the workshop time! Such good marketing of a Harry Potter camp workshop but truly, this was just disappointing. Keep your money and keep your kids at home. They are better off doing nothing at home for sure.
I have been sending my son to Newtonshow camps for years, and the professors/teachers have always been very patient and professional. The vibe was always good, and he would always leave the camp in a happy mood, until this year’s Tomato Cooking School at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre. Today, I picked my son up and he broke down in tears because Professor Mandy scolded him in front of the entire class for texting me to pick him up. He usually does this around 3:15–3:30 pm (before school ends at 4 pm) so that I know when to come down to pick him up when he is done. However, he was scolded for this right in front of everyone, and he was clearly embarrassed. Granted, rules are rules and sometimes kids do misbehave, but there are better approaches to correction. Shaming them is not one of them. He didn’t even want to attend the last day and said he hated it and never wants to go for another Newton class again. I also noticed that all the professors have changed this year, and the overall vibe was not good. The kids were reprimanded for every little thing. It was no longer fun like before. I felt like I had wasted my money and mind you, these camps are not cheap. I probably wouldn’t send him to Newton camps again.
my 9 year old boy loves the harry potter wizarding camp and he has absolutely enjoyed all the activities. he is excited and brought home daily the hand made items. he looks forward to join the magic camp again and asked me to sign him up for the mad science camp. Teachers are nice and patient and look after the kids well

Newtonshow Camp displays a mid-range pricing indicator ($$), but specific per-session or per-camp fees are not publicly listed. Holiday camp fees in Singapore typically vary depending on the number of days, the programme type, and whether materials are included. When enquiring, ask for the full cost breakdown: the camp fee, any non-refundable registration charge, materials or kit fees, and whether a sibling or early-bird discount is available. Some providers charge per day, others per full-week block — confirm which model applies and whether partial-week enrolment is possible. See the full holiday camps cost guide for Singapore →
Holiday camps by nature are time-limited programmes rather than ongoing term classes, so a standalone trial session may not always be available in the traditional sense. It is worth asking Newtonshow Camp directly whether a taster day or drop-in option exists for first-time participants. When assessing fit, consider whether the camp's theme and activity level match your child's interests and current ability, and whether the group size and age range are appropriate. Reading through the 91 Google reviews can also give a reasonable sense of what past participants experienced in terms of teaching quality, engagement, and structure.
Specific instructor credentials are not listed in the publicly available information for Newtonshow Camp. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about the instructors' backgrounds — for example, whether they hold relevant academic qualifications, industry experience, or formal teaching training related to the camp's subject matter. Also ask about the instructor-to-camper ratio, as smaller groups typically allow for more hands-on guidance. If the camp covers STEM, science, or any specialist subject, confirming the instructors' practical experience in that field is a useful way to gauge the quality of the programme.
