I booked a 2 week stay at the nursing home for my dad (as i’ll be travelling early next morning after admission day). On admission day, i admitted him at 1pm. At 4pm i received notice that the live-in caregiver i hired got her work permit (on transfer) approved and can start immediately. I texted Irene who was in charge of the nursing home about the possibility of discharging my dad from the home on the same day, she agreed and only charged me for 1 day stay instead of the full 2 weeks. I was very delighted about this and decided to write this review to compliment Irene’s kindness. I would certainly engage this nursing home again in future whenever the need arises. The location of Serene Nursing Home is quiet and peaceful, the staffs are attentive and took care of my aging parent including tube feeding of the food and medicines in every four-hour interval. I am especially thankful to Irene who has taken great cares to treat my aging parent's bed sores problems to ease her painful and discomfort feelings. The response from the Nursing Home to my enquiry is also prompt to ease my worry. Thank you Irene and the staff at Nursing home.
