About Northeast Medical Group Simei

About Northeast Medical Group Simei

Northeast Medical Group Simei is a GP clinic located at 30 Simei Street 3, #02-01, serving residents in the Simei and Tampines corridor. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 2.4 out of 5 rating across 179 Google reviews — a robust sample size, though the below-average score warrants attention before booking. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, which limits the public trust signals available.

For a routine GP visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue times. The clinic handles general outpatient consultations, acute illness management, repeat prescriptions for chronic conditions, and referrals to specialist outpatient clinics where required. Under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, patients managing conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia may be able to use MediSave at approved CDMP-participating clinics — confirm directly whether this clinic participates. For conditions requiring specialist input, a referral letter from a GP can reduce costs substantially at public hospital specialist outpatient clinics compared with self-referral to a private specialist.

To book a consultation, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry via the contact form on the listing. Given the rating signal, it is advisable to confirm current operating hours and wait times before making the trip.

Called checked aged driving license renewal medical quoted $32.70 included GST. Went last week and confirmation $32.70 by courter staff. Dr filled in first 2 page and said not necessary for page 3. Not Very friendly Courter staff collected $35 + GST said that system not updated for the error. Just paid and submit my report to TP and received email today was rejected that for uncompleted forms. I have to take time off to go back tomorrow to see the same doctor (hope no 2nd charge). This is the kind of service encounter for first visit and not sure should continue for future consulation as one of of our company panel clinic. Most clinic help to esubmit. TP stopped individual submission by April 2026.

Seriously!!. First of all, the counter larger size malay lady was SO RUDE. Not only was she rude, after waiting for 2+hrs for my Queue number was called and i went into the room. Immediately the doctor asked if im 13 years old and it was not a joke. Turns out that clerk keyed in my details ALL WRONG during registration. The doctor refused to see me and told me to find my way out. The doctor JUMPED MY QUEUE!!! For God’s sake. Its only a min worth of wait time to amend my birthday and name. I had to wait for another 30mins more for my Q to be called!!!

Now is 11.45 and they stop taking patients, even though they close at 1pm This is what you call a neighbourhood clinic. Even when the patient is in pain they shut the door with 1 hour and 15 minutes to spare. I guess lunch for themselves is more important than a sick patient

Doctor wrote short form, non medical terms on the physio referral letter and counter staff is asking me to wait for 8 people infront of me to get it amended. Or come back tomorrow. Counter staff blamed it on me that I didnt check when they hand me the letter, but Im not medically educated. How will i know the terms used??? And to have to wait 8 people to get a mistake made by them amended is really uncalled for. Waste my time

Every single time I come to this clinic, the waiting times are incredibly long. And every single time I look at the reviews about the same issue, the replies saying they are “working to improve” keep building up. Shows that no improvements are actually being made.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Northeast Medical Group Simei charge?

GP consultations at private and group-practice clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40, swab S$20–60), medications dispensed, and any procedures performed during the visit. GST applies on private medical services. For patients managing chronic conditions, the Chronic Disease Management Programme allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for listed conditions — confirm whether Northeast Medical Group Simei is a CDMP-participating clinic before assuming this applies. Written receipts itemising consultation, investigation, and medication charges separately are standard and should be requested if not provided automatically. Is Northeast Medical Group Simei MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile for Northeast Medical Group Simei, which is an important gap. Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Before attending, it is strongly advisable to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently. The absence of confirmed licences on this profile, combined with a 2.4 out of 5 rating across 179 Google reviews, means prospective patients should exercise additional caution and confirm details directly with the clinic.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Northeast Medical Group Simei?

MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations at CDMP-participating clinics for listed chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, COPD, stroke, and others), up to S$700 per year. General outpatient MediSave withdrawal is S$500 per year for non-CDMP visits at approved clinics. Confirm directly with Northeast Medical Group Simei whether they participate in CDMP and which MediSave schemes apply. For patients with Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life, GP consultations are generally not claimable under IP unless a hospitalisation or day-surgery episode follows. Confirm your insurer's outpatient riders before assuming coverage. For planned investigations or referrals, request a written financial breakdown of fees at the clinic — this avoids unexpected bills and supports any subsequent insurance submission.
