A Truly Heartfelt Thank You to Dr David Goh I am writing this with a very grateful and touched heart to thank Dr David Goh of Novena Bladeless Cataract Surgery and Eye Specialists Centre for taking such wonderful care of me during my bladeless cataract surgery for a very dense cataract. From the moment I started my journey, everything was smooth, fast, safe, and comforting. The high-tech bladeless surgery not only gave me confidence but also helped shorten my recovery time. I truly felt I was in very good hands. The nurses were gentle, kind, and reassuring, which made the whole experience calm and pleasant. Dr David Goh is a doctor who truly puts his patient first. He carefully explained what was best for my eye and insisted on the safest option, recommending a monofocal lens to protect my retina, even though I kept asking if I could choose a multifocal lens 😅. At that time, I may not have fully understood, but today I truly appreciate his honesty, experience, and integrity. He chose what was safest and best for my eye, not what was most tempting. What touched me the most was when I suddenly developed an eye pressure problem, something he had already warned me about earlier. I experienced severe eye pain, headache, giddiness, and vomiting. Even though the clinic officially closed at 6pm, Dr Goh waited for me until 8pm, personally examined my eye, and even waited outside the clinic to make sure I could walk slowly and safely. At that moment, I felt not just treated as a patient, but truly cared for as a person. That care didn’t stop there. That night and again early the next morning, Dr Goh personally messaged me to check on my condition. This meant more to me than words can express. Knowing that my doctor was still thinking about me after hours gave me so much reassurance and comfort. Because of his prompt and professional care, my condition quickly resolved and I returned to normal 🥰🙏. Today, my left eye has perfect eyesight, and every time I see clearly, I am reminded of the dedication and compassion Dr David Goh has shown me. Thanks Dr David Goh for your perfect cataract surgeries for both of my eyes. I got perfect eyesights on both eyes within 4 months (despite past lasik surgeries decades ago). Advices to use daily hot presses and Bhaphagel cleanings help tremendously to my eyes health and hygiene level. Furthermore, I understand the clinic uses most advanced machine for the operation and hence the cut was much more smaller than those mentioned in the market. You will tend to heal faster and better from this bladeless surgery. Moreover, the clinic recommends latest EDOF (Extended Depth of Focus) a type of intraocular lens (IOL), which replaces the eye's natural lens during cataract surgery. This new lens aim to reduce side effects like glare and halos, while also increasing spectacle independence for patients. The friendly nurses (Cassandra, Benjamin and many more; apologies didnt get your names here) are extremely well trained, multi tasked as operating theater nurses and efficiently handle the administration side of things and hence able to give a true end-to-end positive experiences for me. My advice is to trust your eyes with Dr Goh & his nurses of NOVENA Bladeless Cataract Surgery & Eye Specialist Centre. You are in safe hands. Cheers.

I was wearing the high degree glasses from last 28yrs, I was diagnosed with Cataract in both eyes during my visit to India after consulted two eye specialists at age of 43. My vision in left eye went very bad within 6 months. I was managing my job and daily life with my right eye. I had done research on the internet to find a good eye surgeon in SG and we short listed three. Our first appointment was with Dr David Goh. During our visit, Dr Goh did various tests and also explained to us in details about the cataract operation & the choices of lens available. Based on my job and age, Dr Goh suggested to go for EDoF lens in both eyes, that should correct the near, intermediate and far vision. After our 1st visit, we decided to go ahead with Dr Goh and did not consult other specialists due to our confidence in Dr Goh. Cataract surgery was done on my left eye first with EDoF lens aim to correct the near and intermediate vision. Right eye surgery was done a week later to correct the far vision using EDoF lens. Few days after the surgery, my vision is very good, I can read the small text on mobile and computer and my far vision is excellent without wearing glasses. I am glasses free. I am very grateful and thankful to Dr David Goh for his outstanding job. In addition, I am also thankful to the team of support staff that provided necessary support to claim the NTUC Income Insurance and MediShield. I will highly recommend Dr David Goh and NOVENA Bladeless Cataract Surgery & Eye Specialist Centre for any eye related problem.

I had cataracts over both eye which was very bad and I went to them for second opinion. Dr David Goh was friendly and professional, explaining my options and exceeded my expectations.
