About NTUC Health Family Medicine Clinic Serangoon
NTUC Health Family Medicine Clinic Serangoon is a GP and family medicine clinic located at 264 Serangoon Central, #01-205, offering primary care services in the Serangoon area. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channel. Based on 26 Google reviews, the clinic holds a rating of 3.4 out of 5 — a moderate sample size, though the rating sits below the typical threshold for a strong endorsement and warrants direct enquiry before booking. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile, and the clinic is not registered on ACRA; these details should be confirmed directly with the provider.
For a first visit, patients typically present with acute illness, chronic disease management, or a request for health screening. As a family medicine clinic, the usual pathway is a direct walk-in or phone appointment without a referral. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, confirm whether the clinic is a panel provider before attending, as out-of-pocket costs differ significantly between panel and non-panel visits. Selected chronic conditions — including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders — may be managed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), allowing MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment. For specialist concerns, the GP can issue a referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which typically results in lower subsidised consultation fees of S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens compared with direct private specialist access at S$120–250.
To book an appointment or check waiting times, contact the clinic directly by phone or via the enquiry form listed on this profile.

Went to see doctor with fever and in the end waited almost 2hrs. As there is one doctor and people with appointments keep coming in, my priority is placed further down. Asked a nurse when is my turn and she asured me that I will be next. And it was not my turn! Left without seeing the doctor. I just needed a MC and to quickly go home to rest but there is no indication how long I need to wait.
I have sent my helper to do the 6 monthly check up and to my horror, this clinic charges $49 for the check up. All the previous checks hover around $38 to $39. This is the most expensive check up that I have to pay! When I checked in with the clinic, they said that it is a private clinic. This is a branding of co-operative in disguise and charging exorbitant pricing. Do not frequent this clinic and check your pricing first!
Registration queue was VERY messy. There was zero organisation when there's a high patient rate. And because of the messy queue, I was nearly rejected, as they claimed to have a high patient rate and couldn't serve the demand, even when I came first before the aunties who cut my queue. Was given an exaggeration wait time of 1.5hr when the actual wait time was only 30 minutes. Really suspect that the staff wanted to knock off earlier that's why they made an exaggerated wait time. To be very honest, the doctor who attended to me was really friendly and given very good advice to my skin situation. Would revisit if there's an improvement to the frontliners and queue system.
2nd visit for older daughter and 1st visit for youngest. Today the girls are seen by Dr Janine Yeo and she is a very patient and attentive doctor. All the nurses and staff are very friendly too. There are quite a number of elderly when we visited and from my observation, the nurses are all very polite, helpful & patient with them. The clinic is clean and waiting area is comfortable. Charges are reasonable. Will return if I need to visit a doc even if it's a little far from my house.
Brought my Son who’s having fever and running nose here for the first time and it was a quick and efficient experience. I was hoping to find a regular trustable family clinic for future visits as I think he is old enough for us not to visit expensive pediatric clinics. The medical staff and Doctor were pleasant and professional. Plus, the cost is affordable with or without Chas card!

GP consultation fees at private and NTUC-affiliated family medicine clinics typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up consultations at the lower end of that range. Additional charges may apply for investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, throat swabs, or X-rays (S$80–150), as well as prescriptions dispensed on-site. GST applies on private medical services. For chronic disease management under the CDMP, MediSave can be used to offset consultation and medication costs up to S$700 per year. If you are attending under a CHAS card, confirm with the clinic whether it is a CHAS-accredited GP before your visit, as subsidies for Singapore Citizens and PRs on CHAS (Blue, Orange, or Green) can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. Any planned investigation or procedure should be confirmed with a written fee estimate before proceeding. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile for NTUC Health Family Medicine Clinic Serangoon, and the clinic does not appear on the ACRA business registry based on available data. You should verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence independently on the MOH licensee directory before attending, and confirm the consulting doctor's registration on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by the doctor's name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. For a GP clinic, the two mandatory checks are the MOH Healthcare Services Licence on the clinic premises and the SMC registration of the treating doctor. Neither alone is sufficient. If the clinic participates in CHAS or CDMP, its registration under those schemes is an additional trust signal, as both require MOH and HPB vetting. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient stays and day surgery rather than routine GP visits — confirm with your insurer whether outpatient GP consultations are covered under your specific rider before attending. MediSave can be used for outpatient chronic disease management under the CDMP (up to S$700 per year for conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions), but not for routine acute consultations. If you hold a CHAS card, subsidies apply at participating GP clinics and can reduce consultation and drug costs substantially — confirm CHAS participation with the clinic in advance. For any investigation or referral that may lead to a planned procedure at a hospital, request a pre-treatment financial counselling estimate that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in writing before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
