About NTUC Health Nursing Homes
NTUC Health Nursing Homes provides residential nursing home care in Singapore, with a centre at 25 Geylang East Central. The listing has been verified by KakiList and is ACRA-registered. With 18 Google reviews and a rating of 4/5, the sample is small and should be treated as directional only. Pricing is indicated at a moderate ($$) level; specific fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the provider. No regulatory licences are recorded on this listing, which is noted — MOH registration is expected for nursing home operators in Singapore.
Families typically begin by requesting a care assessment to establish the resident's mobility level, medical needs, nursing dependency, and any dementia or cognitive concerns. From there, the conversation moves to the level of nursing care required — whether that is basic custodial support, wound management, tube feeding, or more complex clinical intervention — and how many hours of specialist input may be needed. Decisions about residential nursing home placement generally involve multiple family members and, where possible, the future resident, so NTUC Health Nursing Homes can be contacted by phone or through their online enquiry form to arrange a facility visit and discuss bed availability, daily routines, and visiting policies.
To take the next step, call or submit the enquiry form to arrange a visit to the Geylang East Central centre, bring a summary of the prospective resident's medical history and current care needs, and ask specifically about admission timelines, fee structure, and available government subsidies.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
Awesome structure, very well maintained and looked after. Surrounded by a calm atmosphere. Lovely staff well versed with their job. Had the opportunity to visit the facility to attend a course, however I observed very meticulous management being done by the stationed team. One can reach out here by private vehicle, ample parking. However, taxi or MRT are also the options. Proximity near to PLQ crossing. And 10 minutes light walk for a healthy person form PL MRT station.
We would like to say a big big "Thank you!" to Ms Tho Pei Leng (MSW, NTUC health Geylang East) for her effort in assisting us for the application for deviation for my mother's nursing home fees (NTUC health Pasir Ris-NH). We faced much obstacles from the previous MSW who handled our application. Although Pei Leng is covering the previous MSW who is leaving the organisation, she contacted us promptly after knowing our difficulties. She listened to our concern and gave us the assurance that she will try her best to submit the application for higher subsidy for my mother's nursing home fees. If not for Pei Leng's patience and guidance, we would have given up and missed the benefits that would greatly helped us especially in this difficult times. Our encounter with MSW Pei Leng has reaffirmed our confidence in NTUC health. My family is very grateful to NTUC health (Pasir Ris) - NH for accepting my mother 2 years ago. For the past two years, many love and concern were given to my mother and she is now very cheerful and heathier and we hope she will continue to enjoy her stay in NH (Pasir Ris). Thank you Pei Leng, Angela and all the staffs and nurses in NH (Pasir Ris).
We were a regular for visiting the patient. I know every management have the own sets of rule about the checks of identity. But at times, we do forget/did not to bring along our identity card, due to reasons like our identity card was lost. Your guards on duty do not allow us to enter even checking our identity every single day we were here for visit. Just only 1 time we forget. We are here to visit parents, family and relatives, please do be considerate about the people who already make their way down after work.

NTUC Health Nursing Homes displays a moderate ($$) pricing indicator, but specific fee figures were not available at the time of listing. Nursing home fees in Singapore typically combine a monthly bed fee with add-on charges for nursing dependency level, medical consumables, physiotherapy or rehabilitation sessions, and incontinence supplies. Public holiday and specialist nursing surcharges may also apply. Subsidised nursing home beds are means-tested and income-assessed through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). Singaporean Citizens and Permanent Residents may be eligible for substantial subsidies depending on household income per capita. NTUC Health Nursing Homes operates as a residential nursing home, meaning care is provided on a full-time live-in basis at the Geylang East Central centre rather than through home visits. Residents receive round-the-clock nursing supervision, personal care, meals, and activities within the facility. Families should discuss visiting hours, family involvement in care planning, and whether short-stay or respite admission options are available for trial purposes before committing to a permanent placement. A facility tour and meeting with the care team are advisable before making the final decision.
As an NTUC Social Enterprise operating nursing homes, staff are expected to include registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and care assistants. However, no specific regulatory licences — including MOH registration, which is required for licensed nursing homes in Singapore — are recorded on this listing. Families should verify MOH licensing directly with the provider before admission, as this registration confirms the facility meets minimum clinical staffing, safety, and care standards. Ask the centre specifically about staff-to-resident ratios, dementia care competencies if relevant, and whether professional indemnity or liability coverage is in place for resident safety incidents. Insist on a trial period where possible and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
