About Number Skill
Number Skill is a tuition centre based at Upper Bukit Timah, offering maths tuition to students across Singapore. The centre is verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.8-star rating across 42 Google reviews — a moderate sample that is encouraging but worth supplementing with your own enquiry.
When reaching out, it helps to have your child's current school level and syllabus ready (for example, Primary, Secondary, or Junior College; MOE, IGCSE, or IB) so the centre can advise on group versus one-to-one formats and confirm whether the class pacing suits your child's needs. Ask about trial class availability so you can assess teaching style and whether the level is appropriate before committing to a full term. Clarify the term structure, any materials fees, and whether classes are conducted on-site at the Bukit Timah Road centre or also available online.
To take the next step, reach out to Number Skill via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current openings for your child's level and to arrange a trial class.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Mr Ang is a extremely caring and knowledgeable teacher. He is very capable and is able to answer all of our questions in a manner which is short, and sharp and helps us to understand questions wholly. He makes math fun for us and he is very patient.
Mr Ang is a very capable teacher who could keep the class engaged and invested in math. At first, I found math a rather dry subject, but he changed my mind about it, and my grades gradually improved!
Got 27/30 for e math sec 3 just after 1.5months of tuition with Mr Ang! His teaching is fun and engaging, and he explains concepts and formulas without making it complicated.
Mr Ang and Mrs Ang are extremely caring and patient. They patiently explain concepts when I don’t understand them. My grades and understanding of the subject has increased massively after joining numberskill.
Mrs Ang's lessons are very interesting, engaging and effective. I personally could easily absorb what the lesson is about and apply the knowledge in the worksheets that she gives and the worksheets in school. She also provides notes to all her students and the content is concise and easy to understand. A wonderful tuition center indeed, helpful and effective.

Number Skill has not published its fees publicly, so you will need to contact the centre directly for a current rate card. Tuition centres in Singapore typically charge on a per-session basis, as part of a monthly package, or on a per-term basis. Pricing generally varies by level (primary, secondary, or junior college), class size (group versus one-to-one), and session duration. Ask whether a trial class is available and what it costs, whether there are any materials or registration fees, and whether sibling or package discounts apply. Many tuition centres offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee, sometimes at the standard session rate — before you commit to a term or monthly package. A trial is a practical way to gauge whether the teaching pace suits your child, whether the class size allows enough individual attention, and whether your child feels comfortable in the environment. When attending a trial, pay attention to how the tutor handles questions, whether the syllabus level matches your child's current school work, and whether the centre's communication style matches your expectations. Contact Number Skill directly to confirm their trial class policy and availability.
Number Skill has not published tutor credentials on their listing. When enquiring, it is worth asking whether tutors hold a degree in mathematics or a related field, whether any have an NIE qualification or prior MOE teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching the relevant syllabus. Also confirm which syllabuses the centre is familiar with — MOE PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IGCSE, or IB — as alignment with your child's school curriculum matters for targeted exam preparation. If the information is not readily available on their materials, ask the centre directly before committing to a term.
