The listing has been verified by a KakiList team member, confirming that operating details and contact channels are accurate. The school holds a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating across 50 Google reviews, which is a moderate sample and should be read as encouraging but not definitive. Families typically begin by confirming whether the school's programme is suited to their child's diagnosed condition — whether that is autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, a hearing or visual impairment, a physical disability, or another profile. A diagnostic report from a developmental paediatrician, psychologist, or MOE Psychological Service is generally required before a place can be offered. Expect an intake assessment or observation visit so the education and therapy team can confirm the match. Many special needs schools in Singapore integrate speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy into the school day, with a low teacher-to-student ratio of roughly 1:3 to 1:6. It is also worth discussing transition pathways early — whether the long-term goal is supported mainstream schooling, a vocational programme, or continued SPED placement.

We are immensely grateful for the exceptional care our children have received at Nurture Pods, particularly from Dr. Alex and Dr. Michelle. Since our kids were diagnosed with Autism at 3-4yo, they have been under the compassionate guidance of their team. Now our kids are 11-year-old and 16-year-old still benefiting tremendously from early intervention, speech therapy, daily living skills coaching, emotional regulation on stress/anxiety and social skills training. The progress they have made is truly remarkable. Both of our children are doing well academically with only minimal support for emotional bursts, stress, and anxiety, thanks to the comprehensive approaches employed by Dr. Alex and Dr. Michelle. Dr. Alex, in particular, has shown an extraordinary passion for the well-being of all the children in his care. His willingness to go above and beyond e.g visits at school and home settings, speaking to teachers/school psychologists, ensures that our kids’ best interests are always prioritized. The methodologies at Nurture Pods are not only effective but also deeply empathetic and supportive, creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive. We wholeheartedly recommend Nurture Pods to any parent seeking reliable support for their children. It gives us peace of mind to have the guidance and direction in navigating the complexities of managing kids with special needs. The dedication and expertise of Dr. Alex and Dr. Michelle have made a significant difference in our lives, and we are confident they can do the same for others.
I highly recommend the Nurture Pods. Its an excellent learning environment, high-quality teachers, and they know what the kids need. My 2-years old child has shown improvement after attending Nurture Pods home program and center program. They are very considerate with the kid's transition. I also enroll my other son to their social class and my son enjoys it. He is quickly adapted to the classroom environment and have a fun learning experiences.
I had a great experience with Nurture Pods Pte Ltd. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely attentive to each child’s needs. The centre is clean, well-organized, and creates a very supportive environment. Highly recommended for parents looking for caring and reliable early intervention support.
I’m so grateful for nurturepods. Having wasted lots of precious time (sorry for being blunt) at many public and private early intervention centres, I finally found a place that my child likes. There is accountability, teachers are well trained (painful to realise that this is not the case at other highly raved centres), and Alex makes it a point to connect what our child learns at nurturepods to his preschool and at home. I can’t recommend nurturepods enough and my only regret is not sending my child here earlier.
My son has been with Nurture Pods since 3 years old, and I’ve seen great improvements in his attention, academics, and social skills. Thanks to the caring teachers, Alex, and Yang Hao, he is now smoothly transitioning to mainstream primary school. Strongly recommend Nurture Pods to parents.

Monthly fees at special needs schools in Singapore vary widely depending on the type of provision. MOE-gazetted SPED schools charge Singapore Citizens approximately S$150 per month, with higher tiered rates for Permanent Residents and foreigners. EIPIC (Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children) centres typically fall in the S$150–S$800 per month range, adjusted by household income. Private special needs schools, which operate outside the MOE-gazetted framework, generally run from S$1,500 to S$4,000 or more per month. Nurture Pods lists its pricing at a mid-range ($$) level, but an exact monthly figure is not publicly available — parents should contact the school directly for a current fee schedule. Likely additional costs include therapy top-up sessions, a transport shuttle, diagnostic assessment fees at partner clinics, and school uniform or materials. Fees at special needs schools are generally GST-exempt. See the full special needs school cost guide for Singapore →
The subsidies available depend on what type of school Nurture Pods is registered as. At MOE-gazetted SPED schools, Singapore Citizens benefit from heavily subsidised flat fees; PRs and foreigners pay progressively higher rates. For EIPIC and early intervention centres, ECDA administers an income-tested Additional Subsidy that can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. NCSS-administered means-tested financial assistance may also be available through the school's social worker. SG Enable provides further financial support, including the Assistive Technology Fund for eligible students and assistance with vocational training for older young adults. MediSave can partially offset therapy costs where sessions are delivered at approved clinics linked to the school. Do note that the Basic Childcare Subsidy and Working Mother Subsidy are for mainstream childcare and do not apply to SPED or special needs school placements. Funding quantum and eligibility criteria change periodically — parents should consult the MOE Special Education Branch and SG Enable directly for current figures and application procedures.
The first step is obtaining a formal diagnostic report from a developmental paediatrician, psychologist, or the MOE Psychological Service. Without this documentation, most special needs schools cannot process an application or offer a placement. It is advisable to begin gathering this assessment as early as possible, as the process can take several months. Demand for places at reputable special needs schools in Singapore is high, and waiting lists of months to years are common. For MOE-gazetted SPED schools, placement is coordinated through the MOE Special Education Branch; for EIPIC centres and private special needs schools such as Nurture Pods, applications are made directly to the provider. Expect an intake assessment or observation visit so the school can confirm that its programme is appropriate for your child's specific profile and support needs. Parents are strongly encouraged to start the referral and application process as early as feasible, and to maintain a second-choice option while awaiting confirmation from their preferred school. Contact Nurture Pods by phone or through the enquiry form to ask about current availability.
