The centre is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and holds a Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 across 50 reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable signal of consistent quality. Parents and students considering a holiday camp at Objectifs should begin by enquiring about the current camp schedule, age group or skill-level suitability, and whether any prior photography or filmmaking experience is expected. Camps typically run in condensed formats over school holiday periods, so it is worth confirming the exact dates, daily hours, and what equipment — if any — participants need to bring or can borrow on-site. Prospective students should also ask whether sessions are structured for beginners, intermediate learners, or both, and whether small-group sizes are maintained to allow hands-on instruction. Checking for a trial or taster session, materials fees, and the cancellation policy before committing to a full camp booking is advisable.
To take the next step, contact Objectifs Centre for Photography & Film directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm upcoming holiday camp dates, available slots, age eligibility, and the total cost including any materials or equipment fees.

An underrated gem of a non-profit arts centre that is free to visit on most days except Monday. With a strong focus on photography and film works from Singapore and around the region, Objectifs has carved out a niche in showcasing, educating and promoting photographers and short film filmmakers. Their excellent gift shop located at the back of the centre has lots of rare art books, local zines, postcards and trinkets for sale. Spent about an hour perusing their free photography exhibitions and their gift shop.
An interesting yellow building, beautifully converted from a heritage church. The architecture is well-preserved, retaining its historical charm while standing out with its vibrant color.
This is a very niche photography museum—so niche that it’s not even mentioned in Singapore travel guides, and you might walk right past it without noticing. The exhibitions inside are free, but they mainly consist of a few framed photographs and a selfie corner. The displayed artworks and decorations change from time to time. The second floor houses photography-related books, though it’s unclear whether any visitors actually sit down to read them. The air conditioning inside is quite strong, making it a good place to take a break if you're tired from walking. However, since very few people visit—locals included—the second floor is usually unlit. If you want to go up, the front desk will ask why. Then, someone will escort you upstairs, turn on the lights, and switch on the air con-definitely a unique experience compared to other museums. If you're lucky, you might spot a cat outside gazing at the sky at a 45-degree angle. But if you miss this place, there’s no need for regret—it doesn’t even rank as a must-visit check-in spot.
Though there was just one not very big exhibition there on the day of my visit, I was very pleasantly surprised by both that even, welcome of Gallery's staff and overall ambience and environment of that creative art space.

Whether Objectifs Centre for Photography & Film offers a standalone trial session for its holiday camps was not confirmed in the listing data — it is best to enquire directly by phone or through the contact form. For holiday camps specifically, the condensed format means a full camp booking is often the entry point, though some providers offer taster workshops or shorter half-day options. When assessing fit, look at how the camp is structured: does the instructor adapt to mixed skill levels, is there a clear creative outcome by the end (a short film, a photo series), and does the pace suit your child's learning style? Visiting the space at 155 Middle Road ahead of the camp can also help you gauge the environment.
Specific instructor credentials were not provided in the listing data for Objectifs Centre for Photography & Film. For a photography and film centre, relevant signals to look for include professional practice in photography or filmmaking, prior experience teaching youth or running structured camps, and familiarity with the equipment and software used during sessions. It is worth asking directly about the lead instructor's background, the student-to-instructor ratio during camps, and whether the curriculum is developed in-house or follows an external syllabus. These details will help you assess whether the teaching approach is appropriate for your child's age and experience level.
