About OneDoctors Family Clinic NEX
OneDoctors Family Clinic NEX is a general practice clinic located at NEX shopping mall in Serangoon Central, offering GP and outpatient services to residents across the north-east and islandwide. The clinic has been KakiList-verified, confirming its operating details and contact channels. It holds a 3.5/5 rating across 103 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a meaningful indication of patient experience, though the rating sits below the 4.0 threshold typically associated with strong community endorsement.
For a first visit, patients can walk in or contact the clinic by phone or online form. A standard GP consultation typically covers presenting complaints, physical examination, prescription, and a referral letter if a specialist or polyclinic follow-up is warranted. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia, ask whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for outpatient management of listed conditions. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check whether the clinic is on their insurer's approved panel for cashless claims; otherwise, payment is typically collected at point of service and a receipt issued for subsequent reimbursement.
To book an appointment or check waiting times, contact OneDoctors Family Clinic NEX directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I’ve been to a few clinics since moving to the Kovan/Hougang area, and Dr Jasper Yang really stands out. He’s very friendly, patient, and genuinely caring. Easily one of the best doctors I’ve met since 2024. He’s now my Family's go-to doctor. Thumbs up 👍
My sister, who had been suffering from a prolonged and nasty cough, recommended that I see Dr Jasper or Dr Samuel at One Nex for my cough since January. My new caregiver for my mum was also down with the flu and a severe cough. Dr Samuel was fantastic. The medicine worked within 2-3 days to reduce excessive coughing and yellow phlegm—no idea of the poor reviews. But the clinic will be my chosen one from now on. Dave
It;s horrible. Doctor in house today refused to do the AMT required for renewing driving licence claiming clinic has no recent record of blood test.
Visited Dr Jasper Yang in 2024 and remain thankful to this date. My child was 2 years+ back then and had breathing difficulties. We thought it was due to his blocked nose from a cold virus but Dr Yang advised us to head to A&E immediately and administered some puffs at the clinic to open his airways. My child subsequently was hospitalized and discharged. We can’t bear to imagine how badly things could have escalated without Dr Yang. Since then, my whole family has been going to Dr Jasper Yang without fail- he’s our trusted family doctor now. Thank you so much for your patience, care and sharp judgement!
I contacted the clinic to enquire whether the doctors are certified to notarise my niece’s vaccination records and upload them to the Health Promotion Board, which is a necessary step in her application for a student pass at an international school. The cost they quoted was very reasonable and I was very impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and efficiency of the front desk staff. In particular, I would like to commend Ms Umairah, who attended to my queries with great attentiveness. I even asked her to spell her name so I could remember it, as I truly appreciated her initiative. She suggested that I email my niece’s vaccination card so the doctor could review it for any missing vaccinations and determine whether it would be necessary for my niece to travel to Singapore. Her prompt and thoughtful assistance made a positive impression on me.

No regulatory licences are currently listed for OneDoctors Family Clinic NEX on this directory. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm the doctor's name, registration status, and any specialist accreditation. Before booking, we recommend searching the clinic name on the MOH licensee directory and confirming the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Neither step is burdensome and both protect you as a patient. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For GP visits at a family clinic, IP coverage is typically limited unless the visit leads to a hospital admission or referral — check your plan's outpatient benefit schedule directly with your insurer. MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and selected mental health conditions, with a withdrawal limit of up to S$700 per year. The standard outpatient MediSave withdrawal limit is S$500 per year for non-CDMP items. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-registered provider and whether cashless MediSave deduction is available at the point of service, or whether you pay first and claim subsequently.
