I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr Mizan who performed the hip replacement surgery for me recently. I am a strong believer of traditional Chinese medicine and look at surgery as an invasive procedure which will cause more harm to the body than good. Hence, even though my condition warrants a surgery years ago, I have been putting surgery off, suffering from discomfort and pain and trying all treatments which proved no help eventually. By fate, I was introduced to Dr Mizan and seek his opinion. Dr Mizan is friendly and accommodating to all my questions. He explained in detail how the surgery is being performed and post surgery expectations. I am worried about the downtime and the need for extra help as I am staying alone. He gave me full confidence and I make up my mind on the spot to go for it. The direct anterior approach of the surgery is what I have being exploring all these while and Dr Mizan is the expert on this. The surgery is well done within 2.5 hours and amazingly there is no pain and I can walked on the same day with walking frame. I was discharged two days later on walking stick. Thereafter physio was arranged to improve my mobility . In fact, on the same day after my surgery, people around me exclaimed in disbelief that I have undergone a major hip replacement surgery. Thanks to Dr Mizan‘s skilful hands that change my perception of hip replacement surgery. For those who are suffering from hip osteoarthritis, I will encourage you to go for the replacement surgery . It’s truly an amazing experience. After the July 2025 right hip replacement, I did not hesitate to go for the left hip replacement 6 months later on Dec 2025 with Dr Mizan. The results were again amazing. Recovery is smooth . The follow up physio exercises is a lot easier!
