About Our West Coast Family Clinic
Our West Coast Family Clinic is a general practice clinic located at 801 West Coast Crescent, serving patients in the West Coast and surrounding areas of Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.7-star rating across 21 Google reviews — a moderate sample, so this figure should be treated as broadly directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$) on a per-visit basis, consistent with private GP consultation norms in Singapore.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in or contact the clinic by phone or the online enquiry form to check wait times and opening hours. A GP consultation at a private clinic usually covers presenting complaints, basic clinical examination, prescriptions, and referral letters where specialist review is warranted. For patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol, enquire whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for qualifying outpatient treatment. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel and what documentation is needed for claims. Patients seeking subsidised care should note that a polyclinic or GP referral letter unlocks the subsidised specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) pathway at public hospitals.
To make an appointment or check same-day availability, contact Our West Coast Family Clinic directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr Zheng was patient in explaining my condition and the medicine. Nurse was prompt too. Very spacious clinic and comfortable consultation room. Best rated clinic in this area, based on google reviews. and it did live up to its reviews. so glad this is included in my company insurance panel clinic.
Dr Zheng is very patient and detailed. Very good operating hours, which many people from all walks of life 👍
I really like the doctor because he is patient and sincere and also dispenses great advice. I will come back to see him again if I have to. However, I have issues with the Chinese female staff at the counter. She was sniffing the whole time I was there. I saw her pull down her mask, blew her nose and proceeded to pack my medication. I did not see her sanitising her hands. Please be extra vigilant with hygiene because most patients would have weak immunity no? Also, while she was dispensing my meds, she told me two of the meds cannot be taken together. Then she went on to describe the other meds. When I asked what she meant by not taking them together, she said they have to be taken 2 hours apart and that everything is printed on the label. If I had to read the labels for details, why did she bother explaining the meds to me? After all, I’m expected to read the labels right? Overall an okay experience. Great doctor indeed but I do not have too much confidence in the counter staff who is obviously sick.
Dr. Zheng is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also down-to-earth and approachable. What sets this clinic apart is how trustworthy and genuine the entire team is—they really take the time to listen and address any concerns without making you feel rushed. He explained to my mother everything in simple terms and makes sure she understood the health screening. You can tell they truly care about their patients’ well-being, and that creates a sense of trust that’s hard to find these days. The staff is friendly, the clinic is well-organized, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a reliable, caring GP.
Very kind doctors and nurses. The appointment system is great; I just booked my slot online, got an appointment for the same day, and there was no waiting time when I arrived for my appointment. I also really appreciated that they followed up with me about my previous consult ("did you see a specialist already? How did that go?"). I'm also impressed by the services they offer in the clinic, including an ECG that was directly analysed by the doctor. Overall extremely happy with this clinic, would highly recommend!

Private GP consultations in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, depending on complexity and any add-on investigations. On top of the consultation fee, expect separate charges for medications (S$5–30 typically), common tests such as a blood panel (S$60–200), urine dipstick, or rapid antigen tests, and any dressings or minor procedures carried out in-clinic. GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or specialist referrals, ask for an estimated cost before proceeding. The clinic's pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$) for the area. See the full GP and 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are currently listed in the KakiList record for Our West Coast Family Clinic. Every legitimate clinic should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation if relevant, and any disciplinary history. The absence of licence data in this listing does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed — it may reflect an incomplete submission. Verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking, particularly if you are planning any procedure or diagnostic workup.
MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment of chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, COPD, stroke, and selected mental health conditions — up to S$700 per year per patient. General outpatient MediSave withdrawal is capped at S$500 per year. Confirm with the clinic whether it is CDMP-accredited before assuming MediSave is applicable. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders should check whether this clinic is on their insurer's panel for outpatient GP claims, and whether a referral letter is needed to trigger specialist coverage. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
