Families considering Outward Bound Singapore's programmes would typically begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit for their child's age group and current abilities. It is worth clarifying whether programmes run in groups or on a one-to-one basis, what term commitment is expected, and whether sessions are conducted on-site at Punggol or at other islandwide locations. Asking about a trial or introductory session before committing to a full term is advisable, as it allows you to assess instructional style, group dynamics, and whether the programme pace is appropriate for your child.
To take the next step, reach out to Outward Bound Singapore via phone or their enquiry form to ask about current programme schedules, availability, and fees before registering.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Anonymous student from last year. Lowkey those who has serious illness or on menstrual try not to go for it. I was forced into water on my second day of period(had eczema at the same time, it got worse for the next few days). Cannot say who’s fault, but I got really bad experience and feelings afterward, just telling people about what could happen.
Nice place. I open visit when cycling. The beach is very close.near by there is a public rest room and a free cycle pump. There are two vending machines. One dispenses cycle accessories and the other cool drinks. There is also a big food court that serves a lot of sea food.it better to visit the food place in the evenings.nice place to be with family.I Alo noticed bus 84 boost stop near by.
Did not went for the camp but as I went past this area I saw some wild boars near the area while a camp is ongoing. Please be careful and alert when you go to the camp.
I was really looking forward to my experience at Outward Bound Singapore (Pulau Ubin Camp 1), but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. The facilities felt outdated, and some areas could definitely use better maintenance. Additionally, the scheduling was poorly managed — there were long periods of downtime where we just sat around with no clear direction from the staff. While I understand it's an outdoor experience, I believe more organization would have made it much more enjoyable. The staff, while generally friendly, seemed unprepared for unexpected situations, and there were moments where safety protocols didn’t seem to be adequately enforced, which left me feeling uneasy. Overall, I hope OBS can work on improving these areas to ensure that future participants have a better experience. I would have appreciated clearer communication and a more structured program.
Take one more last look before it makes way for new development. Thank you for training young selfless leaders to watch over the country continuously. Kepp doing that.🫡

Outward Bound Singapore has not published a per-session rate publicly, so the exact fee will need to be confirmed directly. In the Singapore enrichment market, group classes typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session depending on the activity type, group size, and duration, while specialist outdoor or adventure-based programmes can run higher. Some providers charge by the term rather than per session, and a separate materials or equipment fee may apply. Ask specifically whether a trial session is available and what it costs, whether sibling discounts or package rates apply, and what the refund or make-up policy is for missed sessions. Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial or introductory session, sometimes at a reduced rate, before requiring term-level commitment. It is worth asking Outward Bound Singapore directly whether this option is available for the specific programme you are interested in. During a trial session, look at whether your child is engaged and appropriately challenged, whether the group size allows for meaningful interaction with the instructor, and whether the teaching style suits your child's learning preferences. A well-run trial should give you a realistic sense of a typical session rather than a polished showcase. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you can observe a session before enrolling.
Outward Bound Singapore's instructor qualifications are not listed in publicly available information on KakiList. For outdoor and adventure-based enrichment programmes, relevant credentials may include certifications from bodies such as the Singapore Canoe Federation, PADI (for water activities), or recognised wilderness and outdoor education awarding bodies, depending on the activity type. It is advisable to ask directly about the instructors' relevant training, years of experience, and whether they hold current first-aid certification — particularly important for outdoor and physically active programmes. Enquire also about the instructor-to-participant ratio, as this affects both safety and the quality of instruction your child receives.
