I’m glad I chose Ovon Design as part of my renovation journey last year. We worked with Simon, who was meticulous and attentive throughout the process. He understood our needs well and offered thoughtful suggestions that truly elevated our original design ideas. Simon is also a strong project manager—you can rest assured that your renovation will progress according to the agreed timeline, with little to worry about when working with him. There was a minor hiccup during the renovation involving a small gap between our kitchen door and the carpentry in our closed-door kitchen. This was something we did not realise, and it was Simon who identified the issue and proactively informed us during the renovation phase. He immediately acknowledged the oversight and took full responsibility, offering to rectify the mistake at his own cost, even though some carpentry work had already been completed and redoing it would incur additional expenses. This experience speaks volumes about Simon’s integrity and professionalism. We are happy with our renovated home. We would not hesitate to recommend Simon to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy interior designer.

I am glad I decided to go with Ovon on my renovation project this year. I worked primarily with Megan, and Leon was overseeing the progress. I also liked that it was a 2 person team assigned to the project. In terms of priorities, management of timing on a 3 month timeline was up there and I was very pleased that Ovon delivered on this smoothly. Quality of workmanship was also good, and any rectifications were attended to promptly and to satisfaction. When I approached the renovation project, I had some ideas of what I wanted to do but wasn’t 100% sure if they would work out. Ovon was a great sounding board given their experience and also provided good ideas on key items like reconfiguration of the kitchen layout to remove dead corners and maximise storage capabilities countertops. Megan gave me great ideas on sourcing the built in step ladders and engaging their carpenters to incorporate them - as a result we have managed to maximise storage space throughout, something the original design of the apartment clearly lacked. The place looks so much neater now, unlike the cluttered state it was in before. My dog wash point is great to use, no more bending over and so it’s a lot more ergonomic ! Also love the clean lines and low key colour palette, with the exception of a slight pop of colour in the new kitchen. It is both pleasing to the eye and functional as I wanted a space to do food prep and cook. All in all, very happy with Ovon in its great execution and ideas. Also to any renovation first timers, you do get what you pay for !

We worked with Stanley from OVON for our renovation at Tampines Green Opal, and he did an excellent job from start to finish. He consistently went above and beyond to meet all our requirements and was always available whenever we needed assistance or updates on the renovation. Communication was smooth and clear throughout, and Stanley delivered exactly what we envisioned for our home. We selected 3 ID firms for initial discussion. We did our research beforehand and specifically requested for Simon Chin from Ovon Design based on his portfolio. During the initial meetup, he was a man of few words. As it turns out, he was meticulously noting down all our preferences (fluted design with hotel feels) & requirements (maximize storage). On the 2nd meeting, Simon presented his concepts, incorporating our ideas with a realistic quotation. Ovon provides transparent pricing, using quality materials. Hence, we decided to sign up with Ovon. Simon listens to our requirements & shares either us practical solutions. He does not overpromise or hard sell. He strives to provide us truthful opinions. When we can’t visualize the ideas, he will come up with different drawing versions for clarity and references. He deals with situations (and us) calmly and he kept his promise of remaining contactable and attempts to reply our messages within the day. Simon is also a good project manager. Our renovation progressed as per the agreed timeline.The renovation site is also well kept. We gave specific instructions that the master bedroom toilet should not be used and he even printed signages and sealed the door to convey direct message to the renovation team! We are truly pleased with how our home turns out: as stunning as the 3D rendering! Thanks to Simon, whom made our home renovation process a breeze and a pleasant experience!
