Visited this large owndays outlet on a weekday evening. Was blown away by the service provided by Nithra and Suk Fun. They were patient and super friendly sales assistants! The selection here is also great. We managed to get our glasses done within 45 mins. Overall, would highly recommend this outlet for its huge selection, exceptional customer service and reasonable prices.

Walked past Owndays Suntec and decided to go in to adjust a pair of Owndays glasses which I had made a few years back at another branch. The staff at at the counter was very pleasant and referred me Zee Yap who is the optician. Zee was very polite and helpful. Besides helping to adjust my glasses, he also volunteered to replace my nose rests which are showing some signs of oxidation. Kudos to Zee and staff at Suntec branch.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was too unpleasant to ignore. A staff member named Clevis Kow was extremely unprofessional and rude during what was meant to be a simple inquiry. I only asked whether prescription lenses could be made for my Gentle Monster glasses, and EXPLICITLY stated that I am not looking to do anything today. When he asked if he could see my glasses, I handed it to him, when he snatched my glasses from my hands and, without my permission, forcibly removed the lens, what worse with his bare hands. I heard cracking sounds as he did so, which was alarming!!! He then told me, AFTER doing that, in a demeaning tone and with an unhappy face, that any damage to the glasses would be entirely my responsibility, not the store's. So, just one question here. Since he mishandled my glasses when I had not agreed to any service or signed any agreement, what happens if there were damages during this time? Will Owndays be responsible and pay me back the full price of the glasses? I'm not even upset because it was a GM glasses, if this were a pair of cheap glasses and he did the same thing, I would be furious too. Because why would you do that to another person's property? He's simply asking for a fight, or a lawsuit, or both. To make matters worse, he struggled to put the lens back into the frame right in front of me, and eventually had to ask his colleagues for help. This entire situation could have been avoided if he had shown basic professionalism and asked for consent before handling my glasses. If an employee is unhappy or frustrated at work, it should never be taken out on customers. This was a deeply disappointing experience and left a very poor impression of Owndays' customer service standards.

We went to browse for new spectacles, but my 18-month-old child accidentally broke a pair while we were there. The frames felt quite flimsy — it broke very easily, almost like a toy 😂 Based on this, I don’t feel confident about the product quality. The staff did not step in or guide us, even though they could see what was happening. This made it feel like the staff were not properly trained to handle situations involving babies or young children. We raised this issue to the manager, Zex Yap, but his response was dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, it was not a good experience, and we decided not to make a purchase. I would recommend going to Spectacle Hut instead, as they are more professional.
