About Pacific Eldercare and Nursing
Pacific Eldercare and Nursing is a nursing home operator based at 6 Lengkok Bahru, serving clients islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the business is registered with ACRA. It holds a 4.1-star rating across 16 Google reviews, though this is a small sample and should be treated as directional only rather than conclusive evidence of quality.
Families considering a nursing home placement typically begin with a care assessment that covers the elder's mobility, medical diagnoses, continence needs, and cognitive status. This helps determine whether a higher- or lower-dependency ward is appropriate, and whether specialist dementia care is required. It is worth asking Pacific Eldercare and Nursing about nurse-to-resident ratios, the scope of allied health services on site (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy), visiting hours, and the process for escalating medical concerns. Family decision-makers should also clarify the admission criteria, whether the facility is approved for the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) subsidy framework, and what a trial or short-stay arrangement might look like before a long-term commitment is made.
To explore a placement, contact Pacific Eldercare and Nursing by phone or via the enquiry form to arrange a facility visit and discuss the elder's specific care needs before proceeding.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
My mum was just discharged today from respite care. Precious Homes is, by far, the best nursing home we have encountered. The admin staff were very friendly and helpful, patiently going through the terms and cost options thoroughly. Special shout out to Farhana - thank you! And the nurses and aides were very dedicated to care for the patients. Even the security guards were nice. Thank you Precious Homes.
My mum was admitted there for respite care from 21 Nov to 12 Dec 2025. At first thought, I was horrified to see the home looking rather antiquated, with the staff manually adjusting the hospital beds using levers. My mum thought she was at Alexandra Hospital initially too. However, never judge a book by its cover. The staff there always smiles at the residents, asking them how they are. I was also always kept in the loop about my mum, especially when she contracted shingles. The last nursing home my mum went to was 2 years ago. That place looks rather new but when my mum returned, she was immobile, despite the fact that I paid for physio and I was daily visiting her.
The staff are rude and behave like hooligans, no compassion or empathy for residents, not caring or attentive to their needs and food is lousy. From the Admission/Finance lady, Security Guards to the Nurses and Attendants, (except for a few), most are very bad attitude & service, really unexpected of a "private" nursing home like them. Charge private rates but provides sub-standard service level and so many beds (up to 13) cramped in a small room. Please don't send your parents/grandparents there, if not suffer only!
Inadequately trained staffs with very poor communications amongst. Giving wrong information to family members
Very efficient and highly recommended 🙏

Nursing home fees in Singapore vary by ward type and dependency level. Subsidised beds in approved nursing homes typically range from S$1,200 to S$2,800 per month after government subsidies, while unsubsidised or private beds can run S$3,000 to S$6,000 or more per month. On top of the base fee, families should confirm whether consumables (incontinence products, feeding supplements), allied health sessions, transport for specialist appointments, and personal laundry are included or billed separately. Public holiday surcharges and one-off admission fees may also apply. Contact Pacific Eldercare and Nursing directly for their current fee schedule, as pricing is not publicly listed. As a nursing home, Pacific Eldercare and Nursing provides full residential care rather than visit-based or home care services. Residents live on-site and receive round-the-clock nursing support, personal care, and meals as part of the daily programme. This distinguishes it from home nursing agencies or day-care centres, which offer care on a scheduled or hourly basis. Families should ask about visiting hours, overnight-stay policies for family members in end-of-life situations, and whether a short-stay or respite admission is available before committing to long-term residential placement. Confirming the scope of medical versus personal care services provided on-site is equally important.
Nursing homes in Singapore are regulated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and are typically required to employ registered or enrolled nurses alongside care staff. Families should ask Pacific Eldercare and Nursing to confirm the nursing qualifications held by resident care staff, the nurse-to-resident ratio on day and night shifts, and whether staff receive ongoing dementia or palliative care training. On the insurance side, ask whether the facility carries professional indemnity and public liability cover. For the elder's personal belongings, clarify whether the home provides any protection or whether families need separate personal effects insurance. Given that no regulatory licences are currently listed for this provider on KakiList, it is advisable to ask Pacific Eldercare and Nursing directly to confirm their MOH licensing status before admission.
