About Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home
Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home is a nursing home provider located at 6 Lengkok Bahru, Singapore 159051, offering eldercare services islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It carries a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5, though this is based on 16 reviews, which is a small sample and should be treated as directional only. No AIC or MOH registration details are on file, so families should confirm regulatory standing directly with the provider before proceeding.
When exploring placement, begin with a care assessment to map the resident's mobility, medical conditions, nursing dependency, and behavioural needs. Nursing homes in Singapore typically offer several ward types — single, twin-bed, and multi-bed — at different monthly rates, and some differentiate between nursing care and dementia care units. Families should clarify the staffing ratio, daily routine, therapy availability (physiotherapy, occupational therapy), and visiting hours. Discuss whether the arrangement is longer-term residential or respite-based, and confirm how changes in medical condition are managed, including hospital transfer protocols and communication with next-of-kin. It is worth involving all key family decision-makers early, as the admission process usually requires a medical report from a doctor and assessment by the home's nursing team.
Contact Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home directly by phone or through the enquiry form to arrange a facility visit and care assessment, which will help determine whether the home's level of care and environment are a suitable match for your loved one's needs.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
My mum was just discharged today from respite care. Precious Homes is, by far, the best nursing home we have encountered. The admin staff were very friendly and helpful, patiently going through the terms and cost options thoroughly. Special shout out to Farhana - thank you! And the nurses and aides were very dedicated to care for the patients. Even the security guards were nice. Thank you Precious Homes.
My mum was admitted there for respite care from 21 Nov to 12 Dec 2025. At first thought, I was horrified to see the home looking rather antiquated, with the staff manually adjusting the hospital beds using levers. My mum thought she was at Alexandra Hospital initially too. However, never judge a book by its cover. The staff there always smiles at the residents, asking them how they are. I was also always kept in the loop about my mum, especially when she contracted shingles. The last nursing home my mum went to was 2 years ago. That place looks rather new but when my mum returned, she was immobile, despite the fact that I paid for physio and I was daily visiting her.
The staff are rude and behave like hooligans, no compassion or empathy for residents, not caring or attentive to their needs and food is lousy. From the Admission/Finance lady, Security Guards to the Nurses and Attendants, (except for a few), most are very bad attitude & service, really unexpected of a "private" nursing home like them. Charge private rates but provides sub-standard service level and so many beds (up to 13) cramped in a small room. Please don't send your parents/grandparents there, if not suffer only!
Inadequately trained staffs with very poor communications amongst. Giving wrong information to family members
Very efficient and highly recommended 🙏

Nursing home fees in Singapore vary significantly by ward type, care level, and residency status. A subsidised bed at a government-approved nursing home typically ranges from around S$1,200 to S$3,000 per month after means-tested subsidies for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents; unsubsidised rates are higher. Families should also account for incidentals such as consumables (diapers, feeding tubes), physiotherapy or occupational therapy top-ups, transport for medical appointments, and personal items. Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home has not published a specific fee schedule on this listing. Contact the home directly to obtain a full breakdown by ward type and care level, and to understand what is and is not included in the quoted monthly rate. As a nursing home, Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home provides full residential (live-in) care rather than visit-based or home care services. Residents move into the facility and receive round-the-clock nursing support, personal care, and meals on-site. This differs from home care agencies, which send caregivers to the family's residence for set hours each day. Some nursing homes also offer short-term respite care, where an elderly person stays for a defined period — typically a few weeks — to allow family caregivers to rest or manage other commitments. Families should ask Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home whether respite placements are available, what the minimum stay is, and how fees are structured for a short-term arrangement compared with long-term residential admission.
Nursing homes operating in Singapore are required to meet MOH staffing and training standards. Nursing staff should hold recognised nursing qualifications, and care staff supporting residents with daily activities typically receive structured on-the-job training. Homes caring for residents with dementia may have staff with additional dementia-specific certification. However, Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home's regulatory licences are not listed on this KakiList profile, so families should ask directly whether the home holds a valid MOH or AIC registration, and request information on staff-to-resident ratios, nursing qualifications, and the home's liability coverage. Confirming these details in person during a facility visit is strongly recommended before making any admission decision.
