About Parkway Shenton Robinson Road

About Parkway Shenton Robinson Road

Parkway Shenton Robinson Road is a general practice clinic located at 50 Robinson Road, #01-03, in the Central Business District. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 3.6/5 rating across 42 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that provides a reasonable directional signal, though individual experiences will vary. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level on a per-visit basis; specific consultation fees should be confirmed directly with the clinic.

For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue times. As a general practice clinic, the scope covers acute illness, chronic disease management, health screening, vaccinations, and referrals to specialist care where required. Patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia may be eligible for MediSave withdrawals under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers a defined list of conditions at accredited GP clinics. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) coverage for GP consultations varies by insurer and plan tier — confirm with your insurer before assuming coverage. For specialist care, a referral letter from this clinic to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic can reduce the consultation fee substantially for Singapore Citizens compared with direct private specialist access.

Dr Wee is a dedicated doctor who takes time with each patient, never rushing and covering all areas thoroughly. The wait can be long at times, but I’d rather wait for a proper consultation than be seen in 3 minutes. The clinic has been recently renovated and now has a queue management system, which makes the experience smoother. If you value detailed care, this clinic is worth visiting.

Clean and spacious clinic with friendly and helpful staff. The usual doctor (Dr Serene Wee) is very patient. 5 stars for the overall clinic. However the locum today (Dr Peng) was unprofessional and kept giggling when I asked for certain checks. It was really weird and uncalled for especially when people may already feel self-conscious or nervous asking about certain issues. I did not feel comfortable receiving her care and left without being checked.

Slightly surprised by the negative reviews below, I found both the doctor and staff very friendly and warm - things may not move as quickly as the clinics that push you in and out, but the doctor really takes time to listen and explain. Great bedside manner and no overloading of medicine either. Thank you

I approached the clinic today around 4.20pm with regard to an emergency situation occurring in my office. I specified that my colleague’s condition appeared to be life threatening and requested for Dr Serene’s assistance to monitor the situation while we await the paramedic. However, the clinic staff on duty turned me away asking me to call an ambulance and saying that “the Doctor cannot leave the clinic”. It is appalling that our Company’s panel Doctor could treat us with such disregard, lack of empathy and compassion. Very disappointing treatment in face of an emergency.

I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding the service my wife experienced during her second visit to your clinic. Unfortunately, both visits were unsatisfactory, and this most recent incident was particularly troubling. At around 11:30 a.m., my wife rushed to the clinic from her office due to a severe food allergy and was in significant pain. When she approached the counter, the staff member, Abigail, informed her that it would take about an hour to see the doctor. My wife explained that she was experiencing a serious allergic reaction, yet Abigail simply stared at her without offering any assistance or urgency. When my wife asked if there was another nearby clinic she could visit, Abigail responded that she didn’t know and made no effort to help. This lack of empathy and basic patient care is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the clinic’s reputation. Staff members, especially those at the front desk, should be trained to handle urgent situations and provide support, even if it’s as simple as guiding a patient to alternative medical help. I hope you will address this matter promptly and ensure that your team is trained to manage emergencies with compassion and professionalism.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Parkway Shenton Robinson Road charge?

GP consultation fees at private GP clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with after-hours or weekend surcharges of S$10–30 common at busier clinics. Investigations billed on top of the consultation include blood panels (S$60–200), X-rays (S$80–150), and urine tests (S$15–40). Medications are dispensed and billed separately. For planned procedures or health screening packages, fees range from S$150 for a basic screen to S$2,500+ for comprehensive executive panels. GST applies on private medical services. Parkway Shenton Robinson Road uses a mid-range pricing structure — confirm exact fees by calling ahead or via WhatsApp before your visit, especially if you intend to use MediSave or an Integrated Shield Plan. Is Parkway Shenton Robinson Road MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration details are currently listed for Parkway Shenton Robinson Road on KakiList. Parkway Shenton is a well-known GP network in Singapore, and individual clinic premises are required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — you can verify this on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg. Search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm registration status and any specialist accreditation. If you are unsure which doctor you will be seeing, ask the clinic to confirm the name in advance so you can check their SMC entry before your appointment.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Parkway Shenton Robinson Road?

MediSave can be used at accredited GP clinics for outpatient treatment of chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), with a withdrawal limit of S$500 per year for general outpatient use and S$700 per year for CDMP-listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-accredited panel clinic before assuming MediSave can be used. For Integrated Shield Plan (IP) coverage, most plans do not cover GP consultations directly unless you have an outpatient rider — check your policy. If a GP referral letter leads to a specialist consult or day surgery, the IP may apply with the standard deductible and co-insurance. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
