About Parkway Shenton Towner
Parkway Shenton Towner is a general practice clinic located at 268 Towner Road, Singapore 322102, operating under the GP and 24-Hour Clinics category. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The clinic holds a 2.5/5 rating across 66 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though the below-average score warrants attention and prospective patients are encouraged to read recent reviews carefully before booking.
Patients typically begin by calling ahead or submitting an enquiry via the clinic's contact form or WhatsApp to confirm consultation hours, waiting times, and whether their presenting condition falls within general practice scope. GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore are generally self-pay and priced at S$25–60, with additional charges for investigations such as blood panels, swabs, or X-rays. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans should confirm coverage terms with their insurer, as most GP visits are not covered under IP but may qualify under the MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal limit or the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed chronic conditions. If a referral to a specialist is required, the clinic can issue a letter for an SOC appointment at a public hospital.
To book a consultation at Parkway Shenton Towner, contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm current hours and appointment availability before making the trip.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Doctor was really rude and stood far away from me, looking down at me while talking to me. Dismissed the symptoms I gave him even when I told him I had seen an ENT specialist for it before and asked me what medicine I needed. Shouldn’t a doctor know better what medicine to prescribe? If I can prescribe medicine for myself I would not be here consulting him. Can’t believe this is the kind of doctor servicing patients. Rude, dismissive and does not seem to know what he is doing. I know most probably nothing will happen but I needed to get this off my chest and so others will know what to expect. I’ve been seeing this clinic for years but it’s time for me to find another GP.
Terrible communication regarding opening hours. The clinic opens at 8.30am and 6.30pm. But the doctor only arrives AFTER 9am and AFTER 7pm, with no definite time as to the start time. Fair enough, it’s the doctor owner’s prerogative. No hate though, if I were the boss in a high needs vocation, I would also give zero care about the start time. However, it would be deeply appreciated if this information was posted at the entrance. So that individuals can make an informed choice as to when to attend at the clinic, instead of just languishing in the clinic’s lobby waiting ad infintum. Time is precious and despite being the first in line, waiting for 45 mins to see the doctor for 5 minutes is not how I would like to spend my time. Simply put, I would like the option to possibly return later instead. Consider being more respectful of your clients’ time please.
2 patients in front me and it took more than 1 hr to see 2 patients. AMAZING! I have zero idea what is this guy doing in his room(consultation 2mins, but more than 30mins per patient).. They simply put you inside another room and wait for nothing…
Pretty bad experience. Having fever and sore throat, doctor stay far far away as if I would spread to him. And consultation took only 2 min. Told him to test for Covid or influenza A, and he asked me to test myself at home. Asked if I have enough Panadol at home and I told them to prescribe accordingly. Went to took my medication and only Panadol is given. I’m here to visit a doctor who can cure me and NOT here JUST for THE MC!
My mum visited the clinic on Monday morning after she had a bad fall which resulted cuts and bruises on her face, Ames and legs. And she was bleeding. We only got to know when she return home herself. I asked her what happened, she couldn’t even speak clearly. And we (not even medically trained) already felt that she’s not right. Let alone the doctors and nurses??? So we decided to send her to hospital. She was diagnosed with mild stroke. Even the doctors in the hospital asked my sister, how come the clinic doctor never send her to A&E despite seeing her condition? I was furious. I went down to the clinic few days later to ask the clinic staffs. So there are a few issues here: 1. Apparently what they told me, they can’t force patient to go A&E but advise her to come back 3days later if she still feeling unwell. That doesn’t even make sense. If 3days later, her stroke would’ve been even worst, cannot even go back to the clinic. 2. When she had a fall that day, they only gave her cream for cuts. DID NOT EVEN DO ANY DRESSING FOR HER. How is this even possible? Is not even small cuts. 3. If they say they cannot force a patient to go A&E or whatever, at least the minimum thing they can do is to ask her call her family members to inform them right? We only get to know about this when All of us are back from work. Honestly speaking, if can give zero star, I would’ve done so. We are really damn displease with the doctors or whoever that are there. They really need to look into how they do things. Life and death matters. Not even joking. Now she’s in hospital now. Hoped she speedy recovery.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits often slightly lower. On top of the consultation fee, additional charges apply for investigations — blood panels S$60–200, swabs and urinalysis S$20–60, X-rays S$80–150 — as well as prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. Patients with chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and others — may use MediSave to offset outpatient costs up to S$700 per year. For general outpatient visits outside CDMP, the MediSave 500 limit applies. Any planned procedure should be discussed with the clinic in advance to obtain a written cost estimate. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Parkway Shenton Towner in this directory. Prospective patients should verify two things independently before booking: first, that the clinic holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory by clinic name and address; second, that the consulting doctor is on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which confirms registration status, specialist accreditation where applicable, and any disciplinary history. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. The absence of licence data in this listing does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but patients should verify directly before proceeding.
Most GP consultations are self-pay, but MediSave can be used for outpatient chronic disease management under the CDMP (up to S$700/year for listed conditions) or for general outpatient visits under the MediSave 500 scheme (up to S$500/year). Confirm with the clinic whether it is an accredited CDMP provider before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plans generally do not cover routine GP visits, but do cover specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. If a referral to a specialist or hospital is anticipated, request a referral letter from the GP — a polyclinic or GP letter for a public hospital SOC appointment reduces the subsidised consultation fee to S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, compared to S$120–250 for a direct private specialist walk-in. For any planned procedure, always request a written financial counselling estimate itemising insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before committing.
