When enquiring about training sessions, it helps to have your dog's size, breed, and general temperament in mind, as these factors can affect the format and pacing of the programme. If your dog has any known behavioural sensitivities or has previously attended training, mention this upfront. Check whether sessions are conducted on a drop-off basis at the Punggol location or whether the trainer travels to you, and confirm whether the service operates on a per-session or package schedule so you can plan a recurring commitment that suits your routine. Up-to-date vaccination records for your dog are typically required before training begins, so have these ready.
To get started, reach out to Pawsitively Dog Basic Training via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to share your dog's profile and discuss which basic training programme fits your needs. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Pawsitively Dog Basic Training" directly to confirm details.

It’s was fun and fruitful experience with Pawsitive Furkids Puppy Kindergarten training. I can see my puppy Kome has improved on his commands training and his reactive behaviour has been milder. The trainers were patiently and able to quickly pinpoint and correct my actions when training Kome. There’s guided interaction for the puppies to ensure they are safe and interact with good behaviour. I would recommend for puppy owners to try their training sessions and to start early.
Veronica and Patrick came over to our place for a private training/consultation session and they were wonderful! They observed, enquired and provided lots of guidance and insights. As a first time dog owner, I truly appreciated their patience and encouragement. They helped to provide clear structure and emphasised the importance of consistency and positive reinforcements. They also recommended suitable toys and items which work well for our puppy. Thank you so much!
No regrets enrolling Gia into Pawsitive Furkids's basic obedience training! Really thankful for the trainers' patience and helpful advice throughout the 7 sessions. Every session is always an enjoyable one (for both humans and dogs!) and the dogs always leave happy!! Thanks to them, Gia has opened up tremendously and has made significant improvement since day 1 :) If you are looking for fun and engaging trainers, Pawsitive Furkids would be the best place for your furbaby :D
Luka had lots of fun at obedience class with Pawsitive Furkids! the instructors are very gentle and kind and we could tell they really love their students. outside of class, Patrick and Veronica were also contactable through WhatsApp, so it was easy to share Luka’s progress and get tips from them along the way. beyond obedience training, they also introduced us to new treats and chews that Luka really loved, and they even organise pack walks for their graduates!
Nobi and our family always enjoyed attending the school on Saturdays with Pawsitive Furkids. Patrick and Veronica shared their valuable experience and the step by step approach proved very useful to communicate with Nobi. Best of all, they brought their pet dog Asker to the school too. Nobi will definitely miss the days playing with Asker and other dogs.

Pricing is listed at the S$$ mid-range tier, though specific per-session or package rates are not publicly disclosed. In the Singapore pet training market, basic obedience programmes typically run from around S$80 to S$250 per session depending on whether training is conducted in a group or on a one-to-one basis, with package deals often available for multi-session commitments. When confirming pricing, ask about any breed- or size-related surcharges, whether there are additional fees for travel if the trainer comes to you, and what is included in each session. Clarify whether there is a separate assessment or consultation fee before the programme begins. See the full pet training cost guide for Singapore →
Most dog training providers in Singapore require proof that your dog is current on core vaccinations before any sessions begin. For dogs, this typically means the DHPP combination vaccine (covering distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) as well as a rabies vaccination. Where sessions involve contact with other dogs, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination may also be required. Vaccination records are generally expected to be valid and within the past 12 months. Bring your dog's vaccination booklet or a letter from your vet to the first session. Contact Pawsitively Dog Basic Training directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before your appointment.
Pawsitively Dog Basic Training is KakiList verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the provider's operating details and contact channels. The listing holds a 5-out-of-5 rating across 122 Google reviews, a robust sample that supports the rating's reliability. The business is not listed as ACRA registered on this directory, so it is worth asking the provider directly about their business registration status. For pet training services (as distinct from boarding or grooming facilities), AVS licensing requirements differ from those for kennels. Nonetheless, it is reasonable to ask whether the trainer carries any professional indemnity or pet care insurance, and what their protocol is should your dog sustain an injury during a session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
