About Petpause
Petpause is a pet boarding provider operating islandwide from its premises at 59 Sungei Tengah Blk W #01-54, Singapore 699014. It holds a KakiList verified status, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. It carries a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5, though this is based on only 8 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$).
When arranging boarding with Petpause, owners should be prepared to share their pet's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these factors typically influence pricing and placement. Vaccination records — covering DHPP and rabies for dogs, or FVRCP for cats — will be required before drop-off, so it is worth having these documents on hand. It is advisable to ask about a trial visit to allow your pet to acclimatise to the environment before a longer stay. You can reach Petpause via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss your pet's specific needs and confirm availability for your required dates.

A special heartfelt thanks to the outstanding team at PetPause for making my fur baby Lucifer’s long term stay in Singapore seem like a breeze. The amazing Joanne Lim and her team provided exceptional care for Lucifer to the extent of arranging home cooked food for Lucifer. Lucifer travelled from India to Australia via Singapore. The outstanding care and love for Lucifer provided by Petpause was evident when Lucifer was more excited to see Joanne’s team especially CS than anyone else. Joanne is on top of her game. Joanne and her team left no stone unturned to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for Lucifer, regular updates to me and ensuring compliance to all complexities of Lucifer’s travel from Singapore to Australia. Joanne is an amazing person and we are fortunate to have come to know her and Petpause. Joanne and her team have been a pillar in Lucifer’s long stay and journey from Singapore to Australia. Lucifer is now reunited with family in Australia! I strongly recommend Petpause for your fur baby/s stay and travel plans.
My cat is spending five months here due to Australia's ridiculous quarantine regulations. First time I've been able to visit her here, she was happy and healthy - long may it last - and her accommodation was spacious and clean; recommended
Had my dogs boarding at petpause for 10 days and it was an amazing experience! They keep you updated and always reply fast! Would recommend you guys to this! Definitely would come back! 🥰 Thank you so much for the services and keeping my dogs safe and sound! ❤️
Great service! My frenchie stayed 9 days total and they took very good care of her. the booking process was very smooth and the staff helping were very helpful and understanding with all my questions and concerns. Pick up/drop off service was great, no problems and the driver was very friendly and know how to handle dogs. My frenchie even gained a bit of weight whilst there which indicates to me she was happy n healthy and eating daily. Also daily video and check ins were sent to me in a whatsapp chat which i thought was a nice touch! Thank you for taking such good care of my fur’baby
They looked after our two cats after being in quarantine for 30 days better than I could ever have hoped for. I will always come to them first. The cat enclosures are large and air conditioned. They were more than happy to allow our cats to board together and would often get them out of their oversized enclosures to play. Highly recommended!

Petpause is priced at the mid-range tier ($$), though a precise nightly or daily rate has not been published. In Singapore, pet boarding typically ranges from around S$30–50 per night for small dogs or cats, rising to S$60–100 or more for larger breeds. Surcharges may apply for certain breeds, temperaments, or special care requirements such as medication administration. Add-ons such as extra exercise sessions, grooming during the stay, or festive-period premiums can increase the total cost. Contact Petpause directly via WhatsApp or phone to obtain a firm quote for your pet's specific size and requirements before confirming a booking. See the full pet boarding cost guide for Singapore →
Most reputable pet boarding facilities in Singapore require dogs to be current on their DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations, with bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination also commonly mandated for boarding and group settings. For cats, FVRCP coverage is the standard expectation. Vaccinations are typically required to have been administered within the past 12 months. Owners should bring documentary proof — such as a vaccination card or a letter from their vet — at the point of drop-off. Contact Petpause directly to confirm which vaccinations are required before your pet's stay, as policies can vary between providers.
Pet boarding facilities in Singapore are required to hold a licence from the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board. No AVS licence is currently listed for Petpause on this directory, and it is not registered with ACRA based on available data. Prospective customers should ask Petpause directly to confirm its AVS licence number before making a booking. It is also worth enquiring about the provider's insurance arrangements — specifically whether there is coverage in the event that a pet is injured, falls ill, or requires emergency veterinary care during its stay. A reputable facility will be transparent about both its licensing status and its protocol for handling such situations. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
