About Phoenix Medical Group Novena
Phoenix Medical Group Novena is a general practice clinic operating from 275 Thomson Rd, #01-05 Commontown Novena Regency, Singapore 307645. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.4/5 rating across 71 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence. Pricing is indicated at mid-range ($$) on a per-visit basis, though specific consultation fees were not provided for this listing.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in directly or book via phone or the online enquiry form. As a GP clinic, the consultation covers presenting complaints, clinical examination, investigations where warranted (blood panel, urine dipstick, or referral for imaging), and same-visit prescription where appropriate. Singapore Citizens and PRs holding a polyclinic or GP referral letter can access subsidised Specialist Outpatient Clinic appointments at public hospitals at S$30–80 per visit, though the wait can run four to twelve weeks for non-urgent conditions; for faster access to a private specialist, Phoenix Medical Group can issue a referral letter. The clinic accepts Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) MediSave withdrawals for qualifying conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia under the S$500–700 outpatient MediSave limits. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel before attending.
To make an appointment or enquire about waiting times, contact Phoenix Medical Group Novena by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr Cheryl Lin is definitely the best GP I have ever seen. She is very patient, friendly and reliable. I like how calm and attentive she is, and she is always willing to go the extra mile to share her knowledge.
Quick, simple, straightforward clinic. Located on the ground floor of Novena Regency, they're not difficult to find. They are, however, difficult to access. Parking, and getting to this place intentionally, is a bit challenging. Didn't expect them to be empty on a Friday evening before a public holiday, but we were their only patients. Was here to grab my flu jab, and Dr Cheryl was quite fast and professional with her explanations of other vaccines. Paid with Kris+, and left soon after. Straightforward experience.
Not sure of her name, but the lady clinic staff (with a cute round face) was really sweet and thoughtful! She noticed I wanted to take my medicine right away and kindly offered me a bottle of mineral water. Such a small act of kindness, but it really warmed my heart. 💖
Glad to find a clinic that opens on a Sunday in my area. Dr Rick Chan was extremely patient, caring and made me feel at ease during the visit. He didnt rush through the consultation, and was gentle with the ART. Fees charged were reasonable. If anything, the receptionist was task oriented and a little unfriendly, but this did not affect my overall experience here. Thank you Dr Chan.
Clinic looks clean and feels comfortable. Came here for a check up with Dr Cheryl a few months ago and has been seeing her ever since, so glad that i’ve found her. She never failed to make my visit welcoming.

Specific consultation fees were not published for this listing, but Singapore GP clinics typically charge S$25–60 per consultation at private practices, with GST applicable on top. Common add-ons billed separately include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40), prescription medications, and any minor procedures such as wound dressing or ECG. For planned investigations or referrals, request a breakdown of estimated costs before proceeding. Patients on the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) can use MediSave (up to S$500–700/year for qualifying chronic conditions) toward eligible outpatient charges. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether Phoenix Medical Group Novena is on their insurer's panel to unlock direct billing. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences were listed in this provider's data at the time of publication. Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. We recommend verifying both the clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry directly before booking, particularly as neither could be confirmed from the information supplied to KakiList. The 4.4/5 rating across 71 Google reviews is a helpful directional signal but does not substitute for regulatory verification. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers qualifying conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, up to the S$500 or S$700 annual withdrawal limit depending on the number of conditions managed. Confirm with the clinic reception whether the specific condition and treatment being billed falls within CDMP-approved codes before the consultation. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders layering private insurance on MediShield Life should check whether Phoenix Medical Group Novena is a panel clinic for their insurer — outpatient GP consultations are often covered only on panel or subject to a per-visit co-payment and annual deductible. For any referral to a private specialist or planned day procedure arising from the GP consultation, request a financial counselling session and a written estimate splitting the insurer's portion, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket amount before proceeding.
