About Phoenix Medical Group Seletar
Phoenix Medical Group Seletar is a general practice clinic located at Greenwich V, Seletar Road, operating under the Healthcare category with a focus on GP and 24-hour clinic services. The clinic holds a 3.7-star rating across 127 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of patient experience, though individual outcomes will vary. No regulatory licences are listed in the available data, and ACRA registration could not be confirmed; prospective patients should verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before booking.
For most patients, the journey begins with a walk-in consultation or a call ahead to check waiting times. As a GP clinic, Phoenix Medical Group Seletar handles general outpatient concerns — acute illnesses, minor injuries, chronic disease follow-up, and referrals to specialist care where needed. Patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol may be eligible for MediSave claims under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which allows up to S$700 per year in MediSave withdrawals for listed conditions at participating CDMP providers. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check whether the clinic is a panel provider before visiting if they intend to make an insurance claim, as GP consultations are generally not claimable under IP plans unless on an approved panel.
Contact the clinic by phone or via the enquiry form to confirm current consultation hours, the named GP on duty, and whether an appointment is available before making the trip to Greenwich V.

I have been seeing Dr. Chua for years and he is my primary GP. He has helped me navigate various health concerns (routine and ad-hoc). The clinic offers a wide range of services, including vaccination and comprehensive health screening. I do my yearly health screening with the clinic now. His guidance on weight loss has been life-changing. He has been supportive and never judgmental. If you're looking for a doctor who is thorough and approachable, Dr. Chua is the one to see. I would also add that the staff at the clinic are generally friendly and easy to deal with.
Went to this clinic after being bitten by a dog. Counter staff were extremely service oriented and friendly. One of them gave me a mask immediately when she saw that I didn't have one. They were polite and readily provided answers to the questions I had. The wait time was very short and I could see the doctor within 10 mins of arriving. The doctor clearly explained what the potential problems with a dog bite were and I was able to make a decision on how to proceed. He was extremely patient with the wound dressing and made multiple adjustments to get the best result.
The doctor was great and professional, but be prepared for a poor front desk experience. The staff were unhelpful, inattentive, and failed to guide us properly. We weren’t even given a queue number and only got clarification after I had to approach the counter again while pregnant. Disappointing service at the front desk.
I went there after school today to check on my cough and itchy throat. The doctor that l saw was Dr Cheryl Lin. She is a professional doctor who listens to all the symptoms and gives me the correct medication for each symptoms. The nurses there were very helpful and patient with me.
I have never left a review but feel compelled to do this. Domestic helpers to avoid coming here for 6 monthly medical exams. Understand the priority when it comes to triageing, but clinic/ doctors/ nurses who were in charge of taking blood were free, and still did not call our queue number. Other patients who came in later were all seen ahead of us. It wasn’t just us waiting- there was another helper who came later than us who had been waiting for some time as well. But all of us were left stranded there waiting for ages. If the clinic has no intentions to see domestic helpers for medical examinations please just state it clearly. Disappointing because I bring my kids here and service is totally different. Also, just another point to add - frontline staff really need to brush up on their service and attitude. This is the only constant I’ve observed from all my visits here.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with medication, investigations, and any procedures billed on top. Common add-ons include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, X-rays (S$80–150), and prescribed medication. Phoenix Medical Group Seletar is listed at a mid-range price tier ($$), which suggests fees are broadly in line with private GP market norms, though you should call ahead to confirm the current consultation rate. For planned investigations or specialist referrals, request a written breakdown of expected costs before proceeding. MediSave can be used at CDMP-enrolled clinics for listed chronic conditions (up to S$700/year). GST applies on private medical services. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are listed in the available data for Phoenix Medical Group Seletar. Before booking, independently verify two things: first, that the clinic premises hold a valid MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg; second, that the consulting doctor is registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — verifiable by name at smc.gov.sg, which also shows specialist accreditation and any disciplinary history. Both the clinic licence and the doctor's SMC entry are mandatory for a legitimate private GP clinic. Neither alone is sufficient. Phoenix Medical Group operates as a group with multiple outlets, so confirm the specific Seletar branch's licence rather than relying on group-level details.
GP consultations are generally not covered by Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) unless the clinic is on your insurer's approved panel — check with your insurer before visiting if you intend to claim. MediSave withdrawals for outpatient GP visits are limited to S$500 per year under the general outpatient scheme, rising to S$700 under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and COPD, provided the clinic is enrolled as a CDMP provider. Confirm with Phoenix Medical Group Seletar whether the Seletar branch is a CDMP-enrolled clinic and whether it accepts MediSave at the point of consultation. For any planned investigation or referral procedure, request an itemised estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions in writing before proceeding.
