The doctor is not professional, just want to rush to finish seeing patients. Maybe so can knock off earlier, not my first time and still the same. Jus scratch surface ask some questions and don't even look at you in the eye. The surprise is that the relief doctors are so much better and detailed. When I went to see for my leg pain, the relief doc checked my leg and asked me all the history. When I went back and it was Dr Nicholas, he didn't even bother to touch my leg. The current score of 4+ may not be true as a lot of 5 star reviews may be imposters to make the score look good. The 5 star reviews are all so short and generic. If you look closely at the 1 star reviews, you will see how true and detailed each account is. This clinic is just below my block but dr Nicholas is so lousy that I rather visit the docs elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this doc and clinic at all. Visit if you wanna waste your money...
I am utterly disappointed with service of the clinic. I went on Sunday morning for 1st consultation on fever, sore throat and cough After 2.5 days of medication, my condition did not improve, still experiencing high fever of 39-40 deg C. Decided to have a follow-up visit this evening, called the clinic before I went over. Only one person was there. Rushed down quickly, reach there 8pm, 30 mins before official closing time. Attending nurse say now there is 4 pax ahead of me, doctor refused to see me. Even though I tried to let her & the doctor know, I am really feeling unwell. She double check with the doctor, it was a flat no. Really disappointed with the professionalism of a doctor.
Super thankful for this clinic! The staff, specially Elizabeth, are so friendly and easy to talk to, and you can really rely on them whenever you need help. The doctor is very caring and explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. Highly recommend!
Did a company health screening here with my wife on Wed 29 Oct 2025 and it was the most confusing health screening i've ever encountered. We registered for the first time slot at 8am. When we arrived at about 7.50am, the clinic lights were on but the sign said closed. A malay receptionist was there and we asked if we may come in. However, the receptionist said that they are not open yet and gave an unwelcoming vibe. We asked to come in to sit down at which she conceded. We told the malay receptionist that we were here for a health screening at 8am of which she said she could see in the system. She said Dr Nicholas had not come in yet. It was at this point about 7.55am. 2 other patients appeared and sat with us just before 8am. Up till then, no identification was requested from us. The malay receptionist passed us 2 containers with name tags on them and asked us to collect our urine samples. No identification was performed on us. When Dr Nicholas showed up at 8am sharp, there was confusion on who should see the doctor first. A number was displayed on the counter and it was 21 but no one knew who was 21. Another patient said he thought the malay receptionist said he was to go in first but it was actually us. After going into the consultation room, Dr Nicholas asked me a set of questions with regards to what work I did, what my exercise regime was, what my diet was, etc. At this point, my weight and height was not taken, and he proceeded to prepare the blood tubes and needle for drawing blood. As this is a health screening, why was there a hurry to collect blood? No height, weight or blood pressure done. He asked me to clench my right fist and rest my left arm on my right fist. There was no verification if i was left or right handed and no rest was prepared for my arm. How strange. I've done health screenings for 30 years and this is a first. Seemed like there was alot of tardiness in the preparations. There was also no advice from Dr Nicholas to put pressure on the injected wound and hold one's arm up as its common practice to do so to prevent bruising. My wife did the next next consultation and her arm was bruised from the blood drawing process. Later, i asked if the screening included ECG and stool sample collection but the receptionist said no its not but later she changed her position to say that she will check. There was no clarity on what needed to be done. I called on 30 Oct 2025 to lodge a complaint on why my blood pressure and height and weight not taken. The malay receptionist said that height and weight records they had? How? I asked how would they have my records if they never took it. And how they would calculate my BMI. She said health screening report does not have BMI? I have never done a health screening where BMI is not done. Then she conceded to say when i come back to do consultation, she would do the height, weight and blood pressure. I shared that i did not intend to return and just wanted the records as i would go to my own Health SG doctor for follow up. in summary, i feel the co-ordination and planning here is somewhat confusing and messy. a) No identification was performed until it was time to pay for my health screening. huh? b) No height, weight or blood pressure was done c) Organising patients with a number d) Lack of professionalism on the part of the staff as we were not welcomed, chided for coming in 5mins earlier than 8am. huh? The malay receptionist simply lamented that she was not supposed to be on duty and that she was covering for someone else. e) On Dr's Nicholas part, he seemed a little nervous doing blood taking. Most nurses doing blood taking would assure their patients, asking how they were, give them an object to squeeze, rest their arm on a stable object. Resting the patient's arm on their own fist is simply not ideal. What if the arm slips during blood taking? f) The clinic simply lacked a professional nurse. The counter only had disorganised administrators and one doctor to do everything.
The doctor nicholas asked me to do many tests for a simple flu and cough which were mostly unnecessary and is just to earn more money as he charged more for the tests. Also gave a lot of medicine which I dint use and also to earn more money. The bill for simple flu and cough can come up to almost $100 is unbelievable. When ask him questions he will appear irritated. Unprofessional doctor who should be in another line if he wants to learn more money.

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up visits on the lower end of that range. Common add-ons billed separately include a blood panel (S$60–200 depending on scope), rapid diagnostic tests (S$15–40), X-rays (S$80–150), and prescriptions. GST applies on private medical services. For patients with chronic conditions enrolled under the CDMP, MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year can offset outpatient costs. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green tier) may also be eligible for subsidised GP visits if the clinic is a CHAS-accredited panel clinic — confirm this before your visit. Any planned investigation should be quoted in advance so you understand the out-of-pocket portion before proceeding. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are currently listed in this directory entry for Pinnacle Family Clinic Dakota. Every legitimate GP clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm active registration and that no disciplinary action is outstanding. Listing data is incomplete — contact Pinnacle Family Clinic Dakota directly to confirm the MOH licence and the names of the consulting doctors before booking. MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations at approved GP clinics under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), allowing withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, stroke, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm whether Pinnacle Family Clinic Dakota is an approved CDMP clinic before your visit, as not all private GPs participate. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP outpatient visits — check your specific plan's outpatient rider terms. CHAS subsidies apply at panel clinics for eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs; bring your CHAS card and confirm panel status at the clinic. For any investigation or procedure beyond a standard consultation, ask the clinic for an upfront cost estimate that separates MediSave-claimable items, insurance-covered items, and direct out-of-pocket costs before proceeding.
