About Pinnacle Family Clinic Sengkang
Pinnacle Family Clinic Sengkang is a general practice clinic located at Rivervale Shores, Sengkang, serving patients across Singapore. It holds a 4/5 rating across 105 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of patient experience. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range for a private GP clinic in Singapore.
At a GP clinic, most visits begin with a consultation covering your presenting complaint, medical history review, and an examination. The consulting doctor may order basic investigations such as a blood panel or urine test at the same visit, prescribe medication, and issue a medical certificate where appropriate. For conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme — including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, and asthma — patients with eligible insurance or MediSave coverage can draw on the MediSave 500 or 700 outpatient withdrawal limits. For conditions requiring specialist review, the GP can issue a referral letter, which opens the polyclinic-to-public-hospital subsidised outpatient specialist pathway at S$30–80 per visit for Singapore Citizens, with shorter waits than a direct walk-in to a private specialist. For planned or recurring needs — health screening, chronic disease follow-ups, childhood immunisations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme — booking ahead avoids walk-in waiting times.

I went to see the doctor because of my sensitivity nose and I was only inside for less than two minutes. It's recommended to go if you have a common cold or flu, but try to avoid other situations, as they use the express service..
I consulted Dr Soon today for my throat infection as well as horseness of voice. The entire consultation lasted less than 2 minutes. Seems like she was in the rush, prescribed medicine and chased me out of the room without hearing the impact of the voice loss on my job... and Dr Soon is not friendly as well. The clinic assistant made a mistake as well.. Forgot to dispense me medications that were charged in my invoice. I need to U turn to retrieve my medication.. Like others review, it is an "express service" that you get.
Front desk admin needs work - in efficiency and prioritization. First I had to reschedule my appointment because the doc is unavailable. On my appointment date, the clinic had attended to walk-in patients though I had asked for the earliest slot to avoid waiting time during my workday. In the end the waiting time was 40 mins for a less than 1 minute vaccination.
i like that this clinic has short waiting time usually, and doc is efficient and very straight to the point. However, i feel like this makes the doctor appear quite impatient. Sometimes i wish to share more about my illness/history of it, but doctor always rushes to prescribe medicine and mc after just fewmins of talking, seemingly to quickly end the consult.
Went to see the doctor 3 weeks ago Feb 1st for nasal congestion. Was given some anti histamine and anti congestion spray. Did not get better. Visited again 16 Feb for a follow up, was prescribed the same exact medicine and no actual diagnosis on why my congestion is persistent. Left again without knowing what the hell is going on with my congestion. Absolutely ridiculous. I expect at least a note that I've already been prescribed these medication before and they're obviously not working? What's the point of the follow up??? Shows absolutely no care on their front and it's just a waste of money to keep visiting them.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits on the lower end. Investigations billed on top include blood panels at S$60–200, urine tests, and basic X-rays at S$80–150. Prescriptions are charged separately. GST applies on private medical services. For CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) cardholders — Pioneer Generation, Merdeka Generation, and eligible lower- to middle-income Singapore Citizens — subsidised rates apply at participating GPPC (GP Participation in Polyclinic Co-location scheme) or CHAS GP clinics. Confirm whether Pinnacle Family Clinic Sengkang participates in CHAS before your visit. Any planned procedure or investigation should be accompanied by a written cost estimate that separates insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor in Singapore is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; you can search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Pinnacle Family Clinic Sengkang on this directory. This does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but you should confirm the MOH clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly with the clinic before booking, particularly for investigations or procedures. Neither the clinic licence nor the SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be verified. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used for outpatient visits at approved GP clinics under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. The MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits apply — S$500 per year generally, S$700 for CDMP-listed conditions. Acute GP visits outside CDMP are typically not MediSave-claimable at the outpatient level. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient stays, day surgery, and certain specialist outpatient visits rather than standard GP consultations. If you expect to claim investigations or a procedure through your IP, confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer and request an itemised estimate from the clinic. For CHAS-eligible patients, bring your CHAS card and NRIC — subsidies are applied at the point of payment. Confirm with the clinic whether it accepts CHAS before your visit, as not all private GP clinics participate.
