About Premier Clinic and Surgery
Premier Clinic and Surgery is a general practice clinic located at 631 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4, serving residents in Ang Mo Kio and the surrounding areas. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channel. The Google rating stands at 2.8 out of 5 across 27 reviews — a modest sample size, and the below-average score is worth noting before booking.
For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check waiting times. At the consultation, the doctor will take a history, conduct an examination, and recommend investigations or prescriptions as appropriate. Referral letters to a polyclinic specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) — where Singapore Citizens pay S$30–80 after subsidy — or to a private specialist can be issued if the presenting condition warrants it. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$500–700 per year toward outpatient treatment at CDMP-accredited GP clinics. Confirm with the clinic directly whether it is CDMP-accredited and which conditions are covered under your MediSave arrangement.
Contact Premier Clinic and Surgery by phone or via the enquiry form to check consultation hours and current waiting times before visiting.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Extremely disappointing. Came down to the clinic with severe bodyache and migraine. Received 1 painkiller and 1 day MC. I explained to him that I work with children and I might need another day MC (just in case) and he said "No fever, so 1 day MC enough". I explained again that I understood what he was saying but IF my severe bodyache doesn’t go down, I'll need to rest a day more and he refused to give me the MC. So if my bodyache continues, I can't rest at home but have to come down again.
Very long never visit him after I quit smoking. Health improve. The only gp doc who always make a very sad face and seriousness. Always tell me I cannot continue to smoke anymore . I also heard from my mum. He sometimes don't collect payment from poor people. I saw his nurse at other place. Remind me of him.
Very poor experience. I clearly told the doctor I had a fever the night before and body aches, yet I was given only one day of MC. The doctor did not seem to take my condition seriously.
I couldn’t book my vaccine appointment, but the staff blamed me for not booking before the closing date. I was told to get my last dose around this time, six months after the first dose —how is that my fault? The staff even told me they no longer have the vaccine. Very disappointing
Q up for one hour. 1st in Q. Went in to register - CANNOT register. Why? Told me if I’m covid positive I cannot visit this clinic. Are we STILL in 2019? The nurses were unprofessional without any compassion. Brushed me off and said bring your covid to other clinics for them to treat u. WHAT kind of sickness could warrant a visit to this doctor? It seems to me this clinic is choosy about its patients. According to reviews U cannot come late even if u are desperate. NEVER visit this doctor is the best advise I could give to anyone. Absolutely horrendous.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits at the lower end. Common add-ons include investigations such as a basic blood panel (S$60–200), urine tests, and X-rays (S$80–150), as well as prescription medications billed separately. GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or referrals, request a cost estimate in advance. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, confirm with your insurer what outpatient items are claimable — most IP policies focus on inpatient and day-surgery cover rather than GP consultations. MediSave can be used under the CDMP for eligible chronic conditions up to S$500–700 per year. Contact Premier Clinic and Surgery directly to confirm current consultation fees. No regulatory licences are listed for Premier Clinic and Surgery in the current KakiList record. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm their registration status, specialist accreditation (if any), and disciplinary history. Given that no licences are recorded here, we recommend verifying both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking. Neither alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. The absence of this information in the listing is noted as a limitation of the current data.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but GP clinic visits are usually not claimable under IP unless the plan includes a specific outpatient rider. Confirm with your insurer before assuming coverage. MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at GP clinics accredited under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — up to S$500 per year under the standard limit, or S$700 under CDMP for listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm with Premier Clinic and Surgery whether it is CDMP-accredited before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a written cost breakdown that separates MediSave, insurance, and out-of-pocket portions before agreeing to proceed.
