About Procare GP Clinic Ang Mo Kio
Procare GP Clinic Ang Mo Kio is a general practice clinic located at 163 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4, serving residents across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, with a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 86 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence. No regulatory licences were returned in the listing data, so prospective patients are advised to confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration directly before booking.
For a typical GP visit, patients may walk in or contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check queue times or appointment availability. A standard GP consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, prescriptions, and referral letters where a specialist or polyclinic onward referral is needed. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, or swabs are billed separately. Patients managing chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme — including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders — may be able to use MediSave under the S$500 or S$700 outpatient withdrawal limits, subject to the clinic's CDMP enrolment status. Integrated Shield Plan coverage generally does not apply to outpatient GP visits unless the plan includes a GP rider.
To get started, contact Procare GP Clinic Ang Mo Kio via WhatsApp or phone to check current opening hours and whether an appointment is required, or simply walk in during operating hours.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Was recommended by close contacts about this clinic. Dr Roland Xu was spot on to diagnose my situation after past 5 weeks of various consults elsewhere and unable to resolve my phlegm discomfort. He was attentive snd patient to listen throughout and gave medication focusing my situation. Reception provided detailed explanation on the dispensed medication. It’s been a long time having a great Heartland Clinic experience. Thumbs up 👍 ! Highly recommended !
Went to Procare (Mayflower) Clinic to see Dr Roland Xu for sinus issues. Even though the clinic was quite crowded, he didn’t rush me at all. He was very assuring and took the time to explain what was going on in a way that’s easy to understand. Made me feel a lot more at ease. Really appreciate his patience and care. Would definitely recommend Dr Xu if you’re looking for a GP who actually listens.
Location was v convenient! A few steps from Mayflower MRT. Clinic also seemed new and clean. Was a tad disappointed by the holier-than-thou and impatient tone exhibited by the Dr. Even if things may seem obvious to a Dr, it may not be so for common folk. Hope she can consider a little more empathy in future.
Called up to ask about LPA certification. Person who picked up didn’t identify self, was cold, unfriendly, unhelpful in tone and attitude. Told me to google for the appointment website. The clinic isn’t even available for appointments on the website. Well, too bad, no business for you.
Definitely do not go. Reception does not know anything, and very rude when calling patient. He seems to like to gossip with doctor instead. Doctor magdeline is extremely rude and had this aura of authority and speaks as if she looks down on you. Don't even feel like she is caring at all. Avoid at all cost.

A typical GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore runs S$25–60, with follow-up visits often at the lower end of that range. Additional items billed on top of the consultation fee commonly include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40, rapid swabs S$20–50), prescriptions, and medical certificates. GST applies on private medical services. For Singapore Citizens and PRs managing chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), MediSave can be used to offset outpatient bills up to S$500 per year (or S$700 under the enhanced CDMP tier) at enrolled clinics. Patients using a polyclinic or GP referral letter to access public hospital specialist outpatient clinics (SOC) pay S$30–80 after subsidy, though wait times for non-urgent appointments typically run 4–12 weeks. Confirm the exact consultation fee and any investigation costs directly with the clinic before your visit. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences were returned in Procare GP Clinic Ang Mo Kio's listing data, which may reflect incomplete data rather than the absence of a licence. Patients are strongly advised to check both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration directly before booking — neither alone is sufficient as a trust signal. If the clinic participates in CDMP, it will also appear on the MOH CDMP enrolled-clinic list, which is a useful secondary verification for patients managing chronic conditions.
At a GP clinic, MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment of chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme — up to S$500 per year under the standard tier and S$700 under the enhanced tier. Conditions covered include hypertension, type 2 diabetes, lipid disorders, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, among others. Confirm whether the clinic is CDMP-enrolled before assuming MediSave can be applied. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically do not cover standard GP outpatient consultations unless your specific plan includes a GP or outpatient rider — check your policy terms. For planned procedures or specialist referrals arising from a GP visit, pre-authorisation from your insurer and a written financial counselling estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions should be requested before proceeding. For subsidised specialist access, a referral letter from this GP to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) can reduce specialist consultation fees substantially for Singapore Citizens, though non-urgent wait times are typically 4–12 weeks.
