The current operating hours (open daily until 11pm)displayed outside the clinic are misleading. Despite the listed hours, the doctors are only available for half a day and someday there is no doctors at all. I visited the clinic on Sunday and again today (Thursday), only to find that the doctors were not present for the full operating hours. The doctors leaves at 2 PM, sometimes they never arrived/late. This inconsistency between the displayed hours and actual availability is causing inconvenience. I would suggest updating the operating hours to "as and when doctors are available" This is so unprofessional. Wasting our time.

Had a huge problem with the nurse/receptionist Chermlyn or whoever she is. Super rude, unprofessional and I don’t think she should be with this chain and considering I see some bad reviews abt her too. She has a terrible attitude and talk down to my son; is this the behavior that Prohealth condone?

I visited the clinic today and was attended to by a clinic assistant named Chermyane, whose attitude was extremely unprofessional. I am concerned that such behaviour is not aligned with the standards expected in healthcare. I hope management will review this matter, as her conduct suggests she may not be suited for a role in patient care.

Dr Liew was a very good and professional doctor! His genuine care and concern for patient, took extra time to explain, made the visit all worthwhile! No other doctor I’ve seen have done their job better than Dr Liew! Highly recommended for Dr Liew, Senior Family Physician.

Came at 2pm 30th April 2025 and the clinic assistant said to come at 3pm as doctor is not in. So i waited till 3pm and enter, was told to come back at 4pm as doctor not in. Irresponsible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ProHealth Medical Group Punggol Central charge?

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with after-hours or weekend surcharges where applicable. Common add-ons billed separately include medications and prescriptions, diagnostic tests such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, and throat or nasal swabs, as well as any referral letters or medical certificates. GST applies on private medical services. Patients eligible for CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) — Singapore Citizens and PRs holding an orange, blue, or green CHAS card — may be entitled to subsidised fees if the clinic is a CHAS-accredited GP. Confirm CHAS participation directly with the clinic before your visit, as not all private GP clinics are enrolled. ProHealth Medical Group Punggol Central has not confirmed pricing with KakiList — contact the clinic directly for current consultation fees. Is ProHealth Medical Group Punggol Central MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. At present, no licences are on file with KakiList for ProHealth Medical Group Punggol Central, which means these credentials have not been independently confirmed through this listing. Before attending, check the MOH licensee directory for the clinic premises and search for the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Both steps take under two minutes and are the most reliable way to confirm you are seeing a legitimately registered practitioner at a properly licensed clinic. Do not rely solely on the clinic's own marketing or signage. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at ProHealth Medical Group Punggol Central?

MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations under the CDMP for listed chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, selected mental health conditions, and others — up to S$500 per year for general outpatient use or S$700 per year under CDMP. For acute GP visits outside CDMP, MediSave generally cannot be used for outpatient fees; you pay cash or NETS. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) riders vary by insurer — some cover private GP visits, most are focused on hospitalisation and day surgery. Check your rider's outpatient benefit schedule before assuming coverage applies. For any planned referral to a specialist or day surgery procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the receiving provider that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and cash portion clearly before committing. Skipping pre-authorisation is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill. Confirm CHAS and MediSave eligibility with the clinic at registration.
