Dexter is a fantastic trainer! Classes were centered around creating a fun environment for Hime, and she was able to slowly grow more confident in her commands through games and positive reinforcement. Dexter is patient and quick to identify issues when Hime was not feeling it or is not performing her command well. He was there every step of the way & Hime loves him (picture proof attached😂) Thank you once again for the past 10 sessions, it has been extremely fruitful and insightful! As a first time dog owner and Shiba owner, I highly recommend Dexter. He is very patient and understands the anxiety of a first time dog owner. His teaching method is very flexible and all about positive reinforcement, unlike other training schools I've heard about that are very textbook based. My Shiba flourished under his training and looks forward to going to school every week and I think she was even a little disappointed that she has graduated. Definitely highly recommended

We were desperately looking for help with potty training our new Maltipoo puppy, and Dexter came to the rescue! At first, I thought dog obedience training was pointless, but our lives got crazy when we brought home this adorable puppy in February. After a whole weekend of trying to figure out potty training with no success, I left a message for Dexter at 3 a.m. after seeing all the great reviews. Dexter was super knowledgeable, patient, and nonjudgmental. He made a potty training plan that fit our schedule and lifestyle. He also helped with our puppy's eating and play schedule. Dexter is compassionate toward both dogs and their owners. There are many books and videos on dog training, but doing it myself wasn't working. Dexter's personalized approach and demos made all the difference. Now our puppy gets us and is a perfect part of our family! We’re all about obedience training and positive reinforcement now. We recommended Dexter to our friends who were struggling with new puppy. The difference in behavior and communication between our new puppy and our 14-year-old dog is unbelievable. The older one can't communicate well and she still has potty accident, but the puppy can follow instructions and engage with us actively. For example, she’s learned not to jump on the bed but to ask for permission first. Dexter is incredibly patient and generous with his advice, even outside of class.
