About Raffles Medical Bishan
Raffles Medical Bishan is a GP clinic located at 283 Bishan Street 22, #01-177, serving residents in the Bishan area and the wider island. It is KakiList-verified, with a rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 198 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of patient experience. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data at this time.
For most visits, patients can walk in directly for a GP consultation covering acute illness, chronic disease follow-up, vaccinations, and general health concerns. As part of the Raffles Medical Group network, the clinic may offer referrals to specialist services within the group where further investigation or specialist review is needed. For planned procedures or specialist consultations, patients should confirm whether a polyclinic or GP referral letter is required to access subsidised rates at a public hospital, or whether they intend to proceed on a private self-pay or Integrated Shield Plan basis. Patients managing chronic conditions — such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia — should ask whether the clinic is enrolled under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which allows MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for eligible outpatient treatment.
To arrange a visit, contact Raffles Medical Bishan by phone or via the enquiry form to confirm clinic hours, same-day appointment availability, and your insurance or MediSave eligibility before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I have been going to this clinic for quite a while. Eventually I have gotten to know the staff pretty well. All the reception n nurses are friendly and caring and hardworking. No matter how busy the clinic is, the 3 lovely strong women team (Ling, Joy, Risha) that I often interact will offer polite smiles and kind words. It makes the waiting easier, I have been known to cat snooze. All the doctors that I have visited are professional and caring. Special mentions of appreciation for Dr Shereen, Dr Ng We Leng, Dr Tan. Thank you for your kind service always. Take care all. Hope to not see you so soon.😄
We came here because a clinic nearby messed up. Upon seeing my wife was in great physical distress, the service staff was very helpful in the registration process. She also became a priority case and was seen immediately. Dr Ang was great and explained the situation very clearly and calmly and we got the immediate relief we needed.
Accompanied my dad to see a doctor because of an over-dosage of a new medication. Dr Nicole Tham was very patient and reassuring. I think doctors and nurses should be like that especially to the elderly- patient, reassuring without being patronizing.
I was at your Bishan clinic today n there was a Chinese PRC patient who could not understand a word of English, esp when the staff was giving the medicine. It would help to have at least Mandarin speaking staff on duty. I couldn't help n had to step in to translate. I was again at RMG clinic at Bishan on 8 Dec. I arrived at 4.55pm n waited over an hour before I was able to attend by Dr Ang. Apparently there was another patient before me n Dr Ang spent nearly 20 mins attending to her n when it was my turn, she took less than 5 mins. Why was this difference?
Have been a regular visitor to this outlet no matter how far I stay. Reason being the nurses and doctors here are always friendly, approachable and helpful. Will continue to visit this branch pertaining to my medical requirements

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with Raffles Medical Bishan positioned in the mid-range given its network affiliation. Common add-ons include investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, X-rays (S$80–150), and on-site vaccinations (S$30–80 depending on the vaccine). Prescriptions are billed separately. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions should be requested before proceeding. Patients using an Integrated Shield Plan should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Legitimate GP clinics hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. No licence details have been confirmed in this listing, so patients should verify directly with the clinic or check the MOH directory before attending. Every practising doctor in Singapore is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. You can search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. For routine GP visits this is a straightforward check; for any specialist or procedural care, also confirm the doctor's specialist accreditation in the relevant branch. Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking — neither alone is sufficient. Listing data is incomplete — contact Raffles Medical Bishan directly to confirm details.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For GP visits, coverage depends on your specific plan — confirm with your insurer whether outpatient GP claims are included. MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and selected mental health conditions, with a withdrawal limit of up to S$700 per year. The standard outpatient MediSave withdrawal limit is S$500 per year for non-CDMP items. Confirm with the clinic at registration whether CDMP is offered and whether your condition is listed. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session so that insurance, MediSave, and cash portions are itemised in writing before payment.
