I had one of the most distressing experiences at this clinic. I went there with my brother, who was feeling extremely unwell, his heartbeat was fluctuating rapidly between 66 and 200, and he looked very pale. We even called the clinic in advance to inform them that it was an emergency and that we needed to see a doctor immediately. However, when we arrived, the receptionist said she didn’t know about the call and told us to take a queue and wait like everyone else. Despite explaining that his heart rate was dangerously high and that he was having trouble breathing, we were still asked to wait. After almost 20 minutes, his condition worsened, so I went back to ask for help again. The receptionist responded dismissively and told me to keep waiting. When I insisted that I thought he might be having a heart attack, one of the receptionists reacted as if I was overreacting until another staff member allowed him to have a check. Only then did they perform an ECG, and the doctor immediately realized how serious the situation was and called an ambulance to Changi general hospital. It was an extremely frightening and disappointing experience, especially given that we had tried to do everything right, calling ahead, arriving quickly, and clearly stating it was an emergency. The lack of urgency, empathy, and communication at the reception could have put someone’s life at risk. I sincerely hope the clinic will improve its emergency handling process and staff training so that no one else has to go through the same ordeal. Despite all these experiences, I would like to say Thank you the doctor and the nurse who did ECG for him. They were professional, acts fast and really care about the patient. Really thankful.

Raffles Changi T3 has been my go-to GP clinic for years. Earlier today, I went in for my annual health screening and, as always, the experience was excellent. The clinic is very well organized and the whole process was smooth and efficient, with minimal waiting time. The nurses were all friendly, professional, and very accommodating, which really helps put patients at ease. From registration to the screening itself, everything was handled quickly and properly. Visited Raffles Clinic at T3 today and had a very frustrating experience. My queue number was 1101 – I registered, sat down, and watched multiple people go in to see the doctor while my number was never called. When I approached the counter to ask, one staff member told me, very casually, that my number had already been called many times and I “didn’t respond”. This is absolutely untrue – I was sitting there the whole time. Another staff then insisted my queue number was 1103, even though I showed them clearly on my mobile app that the number I took was 1101. The clinic was not even busy – it was almost empty – yet the staff showed no sense of responsibility, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the issue properly. It felt like they just wanted to push the blame onto the patient instead of checking what went wrong with their system or process. Very disappointed with the attitude and service here. I will think twice before coming back to this clinic again.
