About Raffles Medical Hougang Central
Raffles Medical Hougang Central is a GP clinic located at 809 Hougang Central, #01-180, serving residents in the north-east and across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It carries a 3.7/5 rating across 165 Google reviews, which is a robust sample size, though the rating sits below the typical 4.0 threshold for strong consumer confidence. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList at the time of listing, so patients are advised to confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking.
For a first visit, patients can contact the clinic by phone or via the online enquiry form to check waiting times or make an appointment. As a GP clinic under the Raffles Medical Group network, the clinic typically handles acute illness, chronic disease follow-up under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP — covering hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, and other listed conditions), vaccinations, and referrals to specialists where needed. MediSave can be used for CDMP-listed chronic conditions up to S$700 per year under the outpatient withdrawal limit; standard acute consultations are generally payable by cash, NETS, or Integrated Shield Plan riders where applicable. Patients holding Integrated Shield Plans should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel before visiting to maximise reimbursement.
To proceed, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry via the online form to confirm current consultation hours, the names of the consulting doctors, and whether your specific condition or chronic disease is managed on-site before attending.

I visited Raffles Medical at Hougang Central for a flu vaccination and had a very pleasant experience. The counter staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the registration process. The doctor who administered the jab was gentle and took the time to explain the possible side effects clearly. He also checked whether I had received a flu vaccination before, which made me feel well cared for and reassured. Overall, it was a smooth and positive experience. Would recommend this clinic.
We have a great experience at Raffles Medical Hougang Central today. We were attended by Niyana and Vivi at the reception who are very friendly and helpful. They help to make appointment with the specialist, answer our queries etc. The whole process was seamless. We were also attended by Dr NgWL. He was very patient, attentive, addressing our concerns and provided information and clarification even before we asked. He sets us at ease. Raffles Medical Hougang Central is also one of the clinics that allows walk in for flu jab. We do not need to make online appointment. Thank you Team Hougang for your excellent service.
Was at Raffles Medical Hougang Central for a medical checkup on 27/12/25 and attended by a bespectacled Chinese lady. Very good service and she ensure the q runs smooth and fast, help to address my queries too. Dr Ko is also very experienced and ensured blood test is done swiftly without any discomfort. On 28/12/25 I returned to clinic to submit additional records for my checkup and was attended by a Malay lady, very thankful to her as well as despatch was unavailable for the day, and she took the initiative to help me submit personally to another branch at her own initiative. Appreciate the great service and experience from the 3 staffs at this clinic. Thank you!

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with Raffles Medical Group generally positioned in the mid-to-upper band of that range. Common add-ons billed separately include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine dipstick, throat swab), prescriptions, and any procedures such as wound dressing or injections. GST applies on private medical services. For chronic disease management under the CDMP, MediSave can offset up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment of listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia. Any planned investigations should be quoted with an estimated cost breakdown before proceeding. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm the doctor's registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList for this listing. Raffles Medical Group is a well-known network, but patients should independently verify the clinic premises licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before attending — particularly if the visit involves a procedure, chronic disease prescription, or specialist referral. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor before booking — neither alone is sufficient. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but GP outpatient visits are generally not covered unless the plan includes an outpatient rider — confirm your specific rider terms with your insurer before attending. MediSave can be used for CDMP-listed chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, COPD, stroke, and others) up to S$700 per year under the outpatient withdrawal limit; standard acute visits are not MediSave-claimable at GP level. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a cost estimate in writing that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions. If you hold a Medisave-approved integrated plan, confirm whether Raffles Medical Hougang Central is on your insurer's panel of GP clinics to ensure claims are processed without disputes after the visit.
