For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia, the clinic may participate in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for eligible outpatient treatment. If a specialist referral is required, a GP letter from this clinic can also initiate the polyclinic referral pathway to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic at subsidised rates for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

To book an appointment or confirm current operating hours, contact the clinic directly by phone or via the enquiry form listed on the KakiList profile.

I went for a medical screening, a nurse called Rijanni took care almost of the process before meeting Dr. She was calm and explained details of every steps. I feel less nervous on my first time doing ECG. Very Good service. In terms of worthy, I can’t say now as still waiting for the outcome.

I had my health check-up today, and Ranjini who drew my blood was extremely professional. As I was feeling a little nervous, she kindly reassured me and helped calm my anxiety. Throughout the procedure, she made me feel very comfortable, and I did not experience any discomfort at all. I truly appreciate her care and professionalism. Thank you very much!

Went at exactly 2pm and was promptly assisted by Ranjini and Chester. Both of them are so hospitable that it made me feel even more comfortable during my visit. They also patiently helped me searched for an impossible appointment and was patient throughout. Thanks to the both of them I had a seamless appointment!

I came in with a persistent high fever for 5 days. What should have been a straightforward GP visit turned into an unnecessarily exhausting and bureaucratic ordeal. Despite clear symptoms, it took hours of back-and-forth before basic blood tests were finally ordered. By then, the GP clinic was closing, and instead of continuity of care, my case was transferred to A&E. This took another hour, after which I had to re-register and repeat the entire process from scratch. I explicitly asked to go home and return once results were ready. Later, I was incorrectly informed by phone that my reports were ready, only to be made to wait past midnight due to internal miscommunication. Even after requesting the reports to be emailed, they were not sent. I had to actively chase the hospital to access my own test results. The lack of coordination, ownership, and basic empathy, especially for a patient with ongoing high fever was deeply disappointing for a so-called reputed medical chain. GP consultation may be acceptable, but based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding the A&E unless absolutely necessary.

I had a wonderful experience with Rishma at the front desk. Her polite demeanor and welcoming attitude made a significant difference; even though I wasn't feeling well, her excellent service truly brightened my day. I highly recommend this facility for their attentive care.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Raffles Medical Raffles City charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), swabs, X-rays (S$80–150), or prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. If you hold a MediShield Life Integrated Shield Plan, check whether your insurer covers GP visits — most IP riders do not extend to GP-level consultations, though some corporate insurance plans do. For chronic disease management under the CDMP, MediSave can be used to offset up to S$700 per year for eligible conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders. Any planned investigations or procedures should come with a written cost estimate from the clinic before you commit. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Raffles Medical Raffles City MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for Raffles Medical Raffles City in the KakiList system. Before attending, confirm that the clinic holds a valid MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — this is verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor should also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. The Raffles Medical Group is a well-known healthcare operator in Singapore, but verification of the specific clinic's licence and the named doctors at this branch remains the patient's due diligence step given that no licence data is currently loaded into this listing. Contact the clinic directly to request confirmation of both the MOH clinic licence number and the names of the attending doctors.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Raffles Medical Raffles City?

For GP visits, MediSave is generally not withdrawable for routine acute consultations unless the clinic is accredited under the CDMP for chronic disease outpatient treatment, in which case up to S$700 per year can be used. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-accredited provider before assuming MediSave will apply to your visit. If you hold a MediShield Life Integrated Shield Plan with a rider, check your plan documents for GP or outpatient rider coverage — terms vary significantly by insurer and plan tier. For any planned procedure or referral originating from this clinic, request a written financial counselling estimate that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
