We’ve had such a wonderful experience at I CAN READ City Square Mall! Teacher Ira and Teacher Alice are amazing, patient, encouraging, and truly dedicated to the children’s learning journey. My child always looks forward to class and comes home excited to share what they’ve learned. A special shoutout to Ms. Chris, the customer service manager, for always being so patient and helpful. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly for both parents and children. Highly recommend this centre to any parent looking for a nurturing and effective place for their child to grow in reading and confidence! 📚✨

I CAN Read has really sparked our son interest in phonics. He now tries to read out words on his own and even enjoys doing his homework. What impresses me most is that he can clearly share with us what he learns in school, which shows he’s truly absorbing and understanding the lessons. We’re very happy with his progress with teacher Alice. Chris is very warm and creates a welcoming environment every time we drop off our son, which makes the whole experience even better.

My daughter has been with ICR-CSM since March 2024. Her English has improved tremendously. The teachers kept us update on her performance in class and even the Customer Service - Chris is always on the ball helping us with all sorts of inquiries. Would definitely recommend anyone to ICR-CSM.

Enrolling our daughter in I Can Read City Square branch was one of the best decisions we made for her. My daughter is improving well in her reading skills in just one term! Staff are awesome too!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Read In A Week" charge per session?

Read In A Week is listed at a mid-range price point, but specific per-session, monthly package, or term fee figures are not publicly available at this time. It is common for private tuition providers in Singapore to offer a mix of per-session rates, monthly packages, and term bundles — with one-to-one sessions typically priced higher than group classes. Ask the provider upfront about any trial class fee, whether learning materials are included or charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Confirming the full cost breakdown before committing avoids surprises later. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many private tuition providers offer a trial class so learners and parents can assess fit before signing up for a term or package. During a trial, it is worth observing whether the pace matches the learner's current level, whether the teaching style holds the learner's engagement, and whether the tutor addresses gaps specific to the relevant syllabus. Contact Read In A Week directly to ask whether a trial class is available, what the trial fee (if any) is, and what the class size would be. This is especially useful if your child has had difficulty settling with previous tutors, as teaching chemistry matters considerably for reading and literacy progress.

What are the tutor's credentials?

Specific tutor credentials for Read In A Week — such as NIE or MOE teaching background, degree qualifications, or years of experience — are not listed in the public directory data. For a programme with a structured name like "Read In A Week," it is reasonable to ask whether the tutors are trained in a specific literacy methodology and whether the approach is aligned to MOE primary school English requirements or other curricula. When you enquire, ask directly for the lead tutor's background, any relevant certifications in literacy or reading instruction, and how long the programme has been in operation. Verifying credentials before committing to a term is a sensible step.
