Stayed for the weekend thanks to AWS. We had tea at the Wharf Restaurant and went fishing in Singapore Southern waters the next day. Had an enjoyable time
Review: Republic of Singapore Yacht Club – 3-Night Stay 16,17,18/8/2025 Arrival & First Impressions After arriving past 9 pm, I was relieved to find the key easily accessible—no fuss, just the simple efficiency that sets the tone for the place. The service desk was understated but got the job done—just like the hotel itself: practical, unpretentious, and functioning without frills. Ambience & Facilities The club is intentionally quiet and grounded. It’s an older establishment, lacking the flashy bells and whistles of newer hotels, but it's impeccably kept: clean, tidy, and comfortable. The relative simplicity is part of its charm. Pool & Play My grandsons absolutely adored the pool. Whether gliding across the water or playing energetically, it was the highlight of their stay and ours. Fun was constant, and the kids begged to linger every day. Location & Connectivity Despite its serene, almost secluded vibe, Singapore’s efficient transport network made getting around hassle-free. We never felt stranded or disconnected—a sweet balance of peace and accessibility. Overall Experience We had a wonderful time—the pool was the star for the kids, and the hotel’s calm and functional comfort gave us a relaxed retreat. God willing, we’ll return next time
What a great gem ! I would recommend staying here. Generous and professional staff, including Kerry and all the ladies in reception. Very kind and most helpful. The amenities are fantastic. Rooms are fine, over looking the pool and marina. Retyrning for sure, John Canada
Feels like a proper yacht club. Great rooms and service provision. A choice of restaurants and a park next door if you want some green spaces. The RSYC has gym and swimming pool and you will enjoy your stay complimentary shuttle bus to Clementine MRT on scheduled times. You get served by a robot
My trip 34# trip in singapore hotel/resort/chalet I recently had a staycation at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club. Overall, the experience was pleasant and most of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would especially like to compliment the executive(Indian Guy) at the check-in counter who was exceptionally polite and professional great customer service. However, I did encounter a few disappointments during my stay. One of them involved a female staff member at the counter who spoke in a manner that felt abrupt and lacking in basic courtesy. Frankly, even staff at supermarkets like Sheng Siong display better customer service and warmth in their communication. More concerning was an incident that occurred on 19 July 2025 between 8:30pm and 9:00pm. As we returned to the hotel, my husband was pushing our baby in a pram. An elderly Chinese security personnel on duty saw us approaching the barrier but made no effort to assist or acknowledge us. He simply stood there with an unfriendly expression and offered no help, unlike the other staff members who had been consistently courteous and attentive. I hope the management will look into these issues and provide further training to ensure all staff uphold the same standards of professionalism and empathy especially towards families with young children. Lastly, We did not stay there for free we paid for our stay. But we certainly did not pay to be treated with bad attitude or poor service. I hope the management will take this seriously and ensure that all staff maintain consistent professionalism, respect, and empathy, especially towards families with young children.

Specific per-session fees for Republic of Singapore Yacht Club are not published on this listing. In the Singapore market, sport and swimming school programmes typically range from around S$30–60 per session for group classes, with individual or semi-private coaching running higher. Many providers structure fees as monthly or term-based packages rather than single-session rates, which can affect the effective per-session cost. Before enrolling, ask about registration fees, whether there is a one-off joining or administrative charge, and whether materials such as floats or swim caps are included or charged separately. Sibling discounts and multi-session package rates are worth asking about too. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sport and swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the first-session rate. A trial is a practical way to assess whether the class level suits your child's current ability, whether the teaching style holds their attention, and whether the group size allows enough individual attention from the instructor. When attending a trial at Republic of Singapore Yacht Club, observe how the coach manages the group, how feedback is given to younger or less confident swimmers, and whether the pace feels appropriate. If a trial is not available, ask whether you can observe a class before committing to a term or package.
Instructor credentials are not detailed on this listing. For swimming and water sports coaching, relevant qualifications to ask about include Swimming Teachers' Association (STA) or AUSTSWIM certification, national coaching accreditation from Singapore Swimming Association or the relevant national sports association, and first aid or lifesaving qualifications such as those from the Singapore Life Saving Society. Years of teaching experience and familiarity with specific age groups — particularly young children or beginners — are also worth confirming. Contact Republic of Singapore Yacht Club directly to ask about the qualifications and experience of the instructors assigned to your child's programme before committing to a term.
