Mothers typically begin by enquiring about the 28-day standard package, though shorter 7-day or 14-day trial options are worth asking about if you want to assess the food before committing to a full month. Confirm how many trays are delivered each day — the norm is two (lunch and dinner), with some caterers adding breakfast — and clarify whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the package price or billed separately. It is also worth confirming the twice-daily delivery windows (typically 11am–1pm and 5pm–7pm), packaging type, and the dietary tradition the kitchen follows, whether Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, or vegetarian. Note that RichFood Catering's regulatory licences were not listed at the time of this writing; confirm SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence status and, if halal meals are required, a current MUIS certificate, before placing a deposit.

We ordered RichFood Catering’s Christmas Menu for our festive celebration and it truly exceeded expectations! 🎄✨ From the juicy, well-seasoned roasts and buttery tender meats, to the fresh, colourful salads with a satisfying crunch, creamy and flavourful pasta, and perfectly baked salmon that literally melted in our mouths — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care in each item. The portions were generous, ingredients felt premium, and the menu had something for everyone, making it perfect for family gatherings and celebrations with guests of all ages. The variety of options — from party sets and mini buffets to full buffets and bentos — also made it very convenient to choose according to our needs. Delivery was smooth and on time, and the food arrived well packed and ready to serve, which made hosting stress-free. Overall, a very satisfying Christmas catering experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable caterer with delicious festive food in Singapore. We’ll definitely order again!
Honestly food is quite mediocre. Some days it came with a stench / odour& had to throw the whole food away. Only order if you are not fussy i guess? Another point is that I repeatedly informed them not to ring the doorbell bc I had a sleeping baby, they rang the doorbell every single time. Don’t think their logistics people understand instructions. Good point was that their food timing was quite consistent through out the week. Would only recommend to non fussy people.
We have ordered there premium range mini buffet for 10 paxs. The taste for all dishes are really delicious and with the correct seasoning. Dessert is also nice and refreshing, not too sweet. Delivery man is friendly upon arrival to our home. Portion is generous as well Thank you Richfood for the pleasant experience and we will be back again to engage their service!
We engaged Richfood Catering for my son’s first birthday party, and they were fantastic once again. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and all our guests had great things to say. RichFood Catering prices its packages at a mid-range tier, though specific figures were not publicly listed at the time of writing — contact the team directly for a current price sheet. As a reference point, 28-day confinement food packages in Singapore typically range from S$1,200 to S$2,800 depending on the number of trays per day, whether herbal soups and tonics are included, and the dietary tradition followed. Shorter 7-day or 14-day trial packages are available from many caterers and are worth considering before committing to a full month. When comparing quotes, confirm whether the price covers two trays daily (lunch and dinner) or three (with breakfast), and whether red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement herbal soups are bundled or charged separately. Ask about any delivery surcharge for addresses in the east, west, or landed properties outside the standard delivery zone. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore confinement food kitchens typically specialise in one or more culinary traditions — Cantonese (the most common, featuring warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, or vegetarian. Contact RichFood Catering directly to confirm which tradition their kitchen follows, whether the daily menu rotates or repeats on a weekly cycle, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free preparations. Before paying a package deposit, it is strongly advisable to order a single-day trial meal if the option is available — most reputable caterers offer this at around S$30–60. Confinement appetite and personal taste vary considerably from mother to mother, and a trial meal is the most reliable way to assess whether the flavour profile and portion size suit you before committing to 28 days of twice-daily delivery.
A legitimate confinement food caterer should hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, and the hygiene grade awarded by SFA (A being the highest, followed by B, C, and D) should be visible at the premises or on request. Halal-certified providers additionally hold a MUIS halal certificate, which should appear on packaging and be verifiable on the MUIS online directory. RichFood Catering's regulatory licences were not listed in the information available at the time of this writing — ask the team to confirm licence details and hygiene grade before paying any deposit. Confinement meals are cooked on the day of delivery and sent out hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers, typically within a four-hour window from cooking to arrival. Confirm the two daily delivery time bands, the packaging type used, and the substitute or refund policy in the event a delivery is missed or delayed. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
