About Royal Ambulance
Royal Ambulance provides medical escort services across Singapore, operating from its base at 11 Woodlands Close. The listing has been verified by KakiList and the business is registered with ACRA. With only 6 Google reviews at a rating of 2.3 out of 5, this sample is far too small to draw reliable conclusions about service quality — prospective clients should treat the rating as directional only and conduct their own due diligence.
Medical escort services typically involve accompanying a patient between home, hospital, clinic, or dialysis centre, with trained personnel who can monitor basic vitals and assist with mobility during transit. When enquiring, confirm the type of transport required (wheelchair-accessible vehicle, stretcher-equipped ambulance, or standard car with escort), the level of clinical support needed (basic first-aid trained escort versus a registered nurse or paramedic), and whether the journey is routine or involves a degree of medical complexity. Families should also clarify pick-up and drop-off addresses, preferred timing, and whether a recurring schedule is needed for regular appointments such as dialysis or chemotherapy.
To find out whether Royal Ambulance can meet your specific requirements, contact them directly via phone or the enquiry form, and ask for a written confirmation of the service scope, staff qualifications, vehicle type, and pricing before making any commitment.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
【Take This Ambulance If You Want to Risk Your Life!】 A company with absolutely zero accountability — both customer service and the operations manager refused to investigate a reported case of reckless driving. No follow-up, no responsibility, nothing. If you board this ambulance in decent health, you'll likely arrive half dead. And if you're already half dead when you get in? Well… let's just say your odds of you NOT making it out alive is high. Good luck with that. Choose wisely.
14 Nov 18 @ 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs Service did not meet the mark...extemely poor customer service. 0930 hrs: Ambulance service arrived HALF AN HOUR LATE as booking was for 9am. My client's appt was schedule for 0945 hrs. One male officer apologised repeated for their lateness and that they were NOT PUNCTUAL.WHY? NB: We only arrived at the hospital at 1000 hrs...OBVIOUSLY WE WERE 15 MINS LATE FOR OUR APPT. NB: My client had to wait for an hour later before we can see the Dr, BECAUSE WE WERE LATE FOR THE APPT. It is OBVIOUS that Royal Ambulance Service, did not standby their committment of PUNCTUALITY 👎 thereby my client's and myself had to succumb to the inconvinences caused. WHY? 1200 hrs: Post visit, Royal Ambulance Service (1 male and 1 female officer), escorted us back to respective nursing home. However, they just dropped my client and myself at the lobby. NB: The accompanying female officer refused to send my client back to the ward. SHE ADAMANTLY CLAIMED THEIR SERVICE ENDS AT THE LOBBY AND JUST WALKED OFF! 🤤👎Obviously this was not the norm practise. Her remarks were witnessed by my client, the nursing home securiry guard and myself. We were all taken aback by the lapse of service. As the above incident is not the NORM Pravtise, I highlighted it to the Nursing Home Nurse I/C 1155 hrs, I called the hotline of Royal Ambulance Service to clarify if there is a nee revision of procedure. The male officer that responded also claimed adamantly thevsame remark as mentioned above. He then questioned my role as a Medixal Escort and remarked'why cant u wheeled yr client up to the ward...what is yr role???. He encouraged me to send an email. He refused to give me his name, or allow me to speak to a senior mx...then he disconnected the phone I have verified with the Nurse I/C (ward) and Nursing Officer I/C (Nursing Home) NB: WE ARE AGREED THAT OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A LAPSED INTHE SERVICE PROVIDED BY ROYAL ATTENDING OFFICERS ON 14 NOV AND WILL BE INVESTIGATING THE MATTER FURTHER.
Called about 10 times for an ambulance back to nursing home but no reply. After 90 minutes, still no reply. I guess no one is working. Totally bad service. I will not advise anyone to make use of the service.

Royal Ambulance has not published specific pricing, and no package details are currently available on this listing. Medical escort fees in Singapore typically depend on the journey distance, the level of clinical support provided (basic escort versus a registered nurse or paramedic), and the vehicle type required (wheelchair-accessible, stretcher, or standard). When enquiring, ask for a written breakdown covering the base fare or hourly rate, any surcharges for peak hours or public holidays, and whether recurring or scheduled bookings attract a different rate. Confirm whether GST is included. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Royal Ambulance operates as a medical escort and patient transport service, which is a visit-based arrangement rather than a live-in or ongoing home care placement. Each booking typically covers a single journey or a return trip, though recurring schedules can often be arranged for patients attending regular appointments such as dialysis, chemotherapy, or specialist outpatient visits. Families should confirm the scope of support offered during transit — for example, whether staff can administer medication, monitor oxygen levels, or assist with transfers between wheelchair and vehicle — and establish a clear procedure if a patient's condition changes during the journey.
No regulatory licences are listed for Royal Ambulance on this platform. Families should ask directly about the qualifications of the personnel who will accompany the patient — specifically whether escorts hold first-aid certification, are registered nurses, or are paramedics, and whether the vehicle is licensed by the relevant authority for patient transport. Also confirm whether the service carries professional indemnity and public liability insurance covering both the patient and the escort in the event of an incident during transit. Request this information in writing before confirming any booking, particularly for patients with complex medical needs.
