About SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir

About SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir

SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir is a general practice clinic located at 1 Siang Kuang Avenue, Singapore 347919, operating under the GP and 24-Hour Clinics subcategory. The clinic carries a 3.5/5 rating across 197 Google reviews — a robust sample that suggests a mixed patient experience worth reading in detail before booking. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before attending.

Patients typically attend as walk-ins or by phone appointment for acute illness, chronic disease follow-up, and routine health matters. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders, the clinic may participate in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal and Integrated Shield Plan co-payment depending on the patient's insurer and plan tier. For specialist concerns, the GP can issue a referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which reduces first-visit fees for Singapore Citizens to S$30–80 compared with S$120–250 for a direct private specialist appointment. Investigations such as blood panels and X-rays are typically billed separately from the consultation fee.

Contact SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm current clinic hours, doctor availability, and whether your chronic condition is CDMP-listed before your visit.

Agreed with several comments that the 5 stars are primarily credited to the nurses and staff. Due to required medical tests, I came a couple of times, and each time, saw them with the same good patience to everyone to explain things, especially those who were not familiar. A really great group of staff they have. The place is always clean with the cleaning staffs constantly going rounds. It has even a health screening lounge.

My appointment with them went well, the queue is fast and organised. I’ve been visiting SATA Potong Pasir since 2023. All the staff and doctor handled things professionally and compassionate esp ms Charlotte at the reception whose patiently answering my queries, her voice might be loud when explaining the matter but she is kind and understanding. Also, ms Janelle (counterD) for quick response to my email when I followed up my vaccine.

Subject: Feedback on PCP Patient Treatment at Potong Pasir Location Dear Sata Medical Centre Team, I'm writing to share my experience at your Potong Pasir location. I've noticed that PCP patients often end up being treated last, even when we arrive early. I'm unsure if this is intentional, but it feels like we're being held back. The counter staff told me that PCP patients are treated at the end, and suggested changing locations if I'm not okay with it. I'd like to understand if this is based on any guidelines from relevant authorities. Could you clarify if there's a policy requiring PCP patients to be treated at the end of closing hours? I'd appreciate it if you could look into this and consider treating all patients equally. A clearer queue system would also be helpful. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Subject: Feedback on Service Experience I would like to provide feedback regarding my experience at your outlet on 13 February 2026. During payment, the staff informed me that they did not have small change and insisted that I walk to a nearby 7-Eleven to get change myself. I explained that I was not familiar with the area and was uncomfortable doing so, but the staff continued to insist. Eventually, the staff went to obtain change and threw the change on the table when completing the transaction. Additionally, during the registration process, the same staff member spoke to me in a dismissive and impatient manner, as though I did not understand the instructions. This made me feel disrespected as a customer. I believe customers should be treated with courtesy and not be asked to leave the premises to resolve payment issues that should be managed by the outlet.

Highly recommended for any medical health check and xray service. The Q move fast and seamless across all counters. Place is clean, they uses a new robe for every X-ray, comes with changing room and lockers for your belongings too. The nurses and doctor is another level, exceeding service expectation. Will definitely come by again for any health check. 💕

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir charge?

GP consultation fees at private and community clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with investigations billed on top — a blood panel costs roughly S$60–200, an X-ray S$80–150. GST applies on private medical services. SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir's pricing is displayed as '$$', indicating a mid-range band; confirm the exact consultation fee by phone before attending, particularly if you are an unsubsidised patient. For planned procedures or chronic disease management, request a written breakdown that splits any insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion before proceeding. Prescriptions and follow-up reviews are billed separately from the first consultation. See the full GP and 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile. Every legitimate clinic should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. SATA CommHealth is a well-established community health organisation in Singapore, but patients should independently confirm both the clinic-premises licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before attending — neither the organisation's reputation alone nor this listing substitutes for direct verification.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to deductibles, co-insurance, and rider rules. For GP-level outpatient visits, MediSave can be used under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient use, S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. If SATA CommHealth Potong Pasir participates in CDMP, eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs can offset chronic disease follow-up costs directly against MediSave. Confirm CDMP participation and your specific condition's coverage by phone before your visit. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session with an itemised pre-treatment estimate in writing.
