When enquiring about a holiday camp place, parents should check which camps are available for their child's age group and interest area, confirm whether the programme aligns with school-holiday dates, and ask whether sessions are structured as standalone days or consecutive multi-day blocks. It is worth clarifying the group size, the facilitator-to-child ratio, and whether any materials or equipment are included in the fee. A trial class or single-day option, where offered, allows you to gauge engagement and teaching approach before committing to a full programme. Booking typically fills up quickly around the major school holidays — June and December in particular — so enquiring several weeks in advance is advisable.
To get started, contact Science Centre KidsSTOP via phone or the online enquiry form to check upcoming holiday camp schedules, confirm availability for your child's age group, and obtain the full fee breakdown before registering.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Great place for young kids to learn through play. The exhibits are hands on, engaging, and teach real science concepts without feeling like school. Kids can explore independently and stay occupied for hours. Safety is well managed. There are staff stationed at each zone actively supervising and stepping in if children start doing anything risky, so parents can relax while kids move freely. They also run scheduled mini events and performances where kids are invited to participate. These sessions are interactive and keep the energy high, making the whole visit even more engaging. Best for ages about four to eight. Weekdays are quieter. Overall, a strong mix of fun, learning, and proper supervision.
KIDSTOP is best suited for age 2 to 5 or kindergateners as a place of learning natural science and play. My son, of higher age finds the installation a bit babyish but still a good place to play. Perhaps those installations in the outdoor Kinetic Park is more fun.
Thoroughly fun and rather educational. There is a sandpit with "dinosaur bones" for excavating; "construction site" with workers' attire and balls for piling into a wheelbarrow, dumping with a claw machine or sending up a conveyor belt of sorts; a plane cockpit with pilot uniform; a space shuttle to pretend to steer; supermarket and attached kitchen with chefs' outfits; a farm-themed toddler play area where you can "milk" a cow and sort vegetables by shape; an "ant colony" area with spiral slide and ball pit plus large "Lego" blocks; and various other stations with facts about the seasons, aviation, a typhoon simulator, chairs with pulleys, etc. Toddlers were thoroughly absorbed for 3 hours. They also enjoyed the slide outside and admiring the model train chugging along near the ceiling.
It was very educational and my child was engaged! The place was much bigger than I expected, I especially love the design of the dinosaur sand pit and the ant play area! It’s totally something different than other playhouses! I would highly recommend anyone to take their young toddler here!
Everything is running smooth with kind understanding parents. Just a minor thing with the occupational uniforms which need washing or replacement. My kid and I enjoyed the experience and we paid $20 for 2 adults $5x2)and 1 child($10).

Science Centre KidsSTOP uses a mid-range ($$) pricing position, but specific per-session or per-camp fees are not publicly listed and will vary depending on the programme, duration, and age group. When enquiring, ask whether the quoted fee covers all materials and equipment or whether there are additional charges. Some holiday camp providers offer early-bird rates or sibling discounts, so it is worth asking about these at the point of enquiry. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →
Whether a trial or single-day option is available will depend on the specific holiday camp programme. Some multi-day camp formats are designed as a consecutive series, making a single-session trial impractical, while standalone day camps can effectively serve as a trial experience. When contacting Science Centre KidsSTOP, ask whether your child can join a single day before committing to a full programme. When assessing fit, look for whether the activities match your child's interest level, whether the facilitator's pace suits their learning style, and whether the group size feels manageable. Science Centre's broader reputation for hands-on, inquiry-based programming provides useful context for what to expect.
Science Centre KidsSTOP is operated under the Science Centre Singapore, a statutory board with an established track record in science education and public engagement. Facilitator qualifications for individual holiday camp programmes are not listed publicly. It is reasonable to ask directly about the educational background of the camp facilitators, their experience working with children in the relevant age group, and whether the curriculum has been developed or reviewed by education specialists. For camps that align with the MOE syllabus or enrichment goals, confirm whether the programme content is mapped to any specific learning outcomes before booking.
