About Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare

About Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare

Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare is a general practice clinic located at 319B Anchorvale Drive, #01-92, serving residents in Sengkang and the surrounding areas. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It carries a Google rating of 3.2 out of 5 across 59 reviews — a moderate sample size, though the rating sits below the average for GP clinics in Singapore and warrants attention before booking. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences could be confirmed in the listing data at the time of writing.

For a first visit to a GP, patients typically walk in or call ahead to confirm waiting times and slot availability. A standard GP consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, prescription where indicated, and referral to a polyclinic or restructured hospital specialist if the condition warrants further investigation. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, confirm whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel for cashless claims. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders, up to the S$500–700 outpatient withdrawal limit. CHAS cardholders should confirm whether the clinic is an approved CHAS GP before attending.

To book, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry via the contact form on the listing, and ask about current waiting times and whether your specific concern can be addressed at a GP level or requires a specialist referral.

I would like to give a small feedback. I visited the clinic just now, and the lady at the front desk (the Chinese girl with glasses) was quite impatient and her attitude was not very good. I even gave her a second chance when I went to collect my medicine. Before I left, I said “thank you”, but she didn’t respond. I feel her attitude might be an issue and hope it can be improved. I don’t usually give feedback, but this made my morning quite unpleasant.

Awesome clinic. Thanks to Doctor Wong Tien Hua, he has the equipment to remove quite a long fish bone from my husband's left tonsil. Thankfully, with his help and expertise, we save the trouble of going to the hospital A&E.

Replying to this Amy68 Amy review below. You mentioned that you already google for nearest GP to do the checkup. You didnt know this GP don’t provide X ray services? You don’t know your helper needs to do X ray? It is standard practice that GP cannot perform X-rays. That why polyclinic exists what. It’s not even something unique to one clinic, most GPs will refer patients to polyclinics for chest X-rays, as they are the authorized centers. This process is set by health authorities, not by the clinic. Clinic collected a fee? Of cos need pay la, The doctor draw your helper blood as per form check up and this no need to pay? Clinic do for free? They are charging for services rendered to you. They never even collect a single cent for the X ray part. You could’ve gone to another clinic? Go laaaaa. They’ll tell you the exact same thing. Because this isn’t about the clinic, it’s about the process that applies across the board. it’s about following MOM’s regulations, not your assumptions. Returning to the same GP with the polyclinic X-ray result to complete the form? Why not let your helper hand the result to the wind and hope MOM gets it? What exactly did you expect? You mentioned you left the clinic after making payment. But you can leave your non English speaking helper alone in the clinic for check up. Isn’t it your responsibility to be there with your helper during the checkup since she don’t understand English??? You weren’t even present during her checkup till the end when she is done, Instead of clarifying with your helper or the clinic, you jump to conclusions and throw out accusations and blame the clinic for not explaining it you. You expect your helper to figure out everything herself when you should have been present throughout till the whole process is done and personally have a proper handover by the clinic staff to you. Like this also clinic fault when explanation is done to your helper. Your heart super black leh, accuse clinic want to trick your money. Wah if the clinic so easy to trick this way, they would have become multi billionaire long ago liao lo. Use your brain la, instead of accusing the clinic of dishonesty, it would be more helpful to highlight that employers should clarify the full process especially for helper check up before visiting any clinic. Like you la, ownself never clarify your doubts. Stupid plus dumb Ownself never checked properly then want to blame clinic make you go extra trip and make extra payment. You got money to hire helper no money to take no pay leave? You think whole Singapore only you have helper and need make extra trip to polyclinic for xray. Thousand of employers also did the same extra trip to bring their helpers for medical. Next time, maybe just ask a few more questions upfront before jumping to conclusions and blaming people who are just doing their job according to official protocol. My family and I visited Dr Wong clinic for 20 years with zero issues. We’ve always experienced professional, kind doctors and helpful counter staff. spoil people’s google review and spreading misinformation!

we google the nearest GP which can provide medical check up for helper, this GP happen to be the nearest, so we brought our helper there, everything went smoothly and the front counter staff ask me to make payment and they will proceed with the check up and I did so. However, after I made payment and left the clinic, the staff give my helper who dont understand English very well an additional form ask her to go polyclinic to do X ray and bring back the results to this GP again?! Which meaning that I have to take another day leave from work to bring helper to polyclinic, and pay another bill for X ray?!! I understand that some GP dont provide X-ray service but I didnt know this clinic is one of them, as they happily ask me to pay and say will do the ckeck up for helper. Ended up, 1.the GP has collected fee for medical check up!!!! 2. we still need to take another day to bring helper to go polyclinic and pay polyclinic!!!! 3. and after polyclinic check, we need to bring back the results to this GP again for them to certify and submit to MOM!!!!!!! How much trouble and wasting of time and money here!!!! And all this could have been prevented if the GP made informed explaination that they cant provide the whole medical check up!!!! Very disappointed, ended up spend extra time and extra money. If they could tell us earlier upfront, I could go to other clinic which can do the whole medical check up but sadly they didnt!!!!! Im not sure if they are using this trick to earn more money by purposely not disclose the truth, or its just a human factor that they "forgot" to tell patient. Any way, Im writing this to share with new FDW employers like me and some work/S pass holders so that this dont happen to any of you in this GP.

The doctors in this clinic tend to be late. Easily wait half an hour for doctor to arrive after they opened, registered, and issued queue number. One time I waited 45 min.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare charge?

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with the final amount varying by complexity and whether any investigations or prescriptions are added. Common add-ons billed separately include a blood panel (S$60–200), urine test (S$10–30), and medications or take-home dressings. GST applies on private medical services. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green) receive a subsidised rate if the clinic participates in the CHAS scheme — confirm this before your visit. For any planned procedure or investigation, ask for an itemised estimate upfront that separates the consultation, investigation, and prescription costs. Is Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration was listed for Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare at the time this entry was compiled. Every legitimate GP clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory — and every practising doctor must appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Before attending, search the clinic's registered name on the MOH licensee directory and the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Neither alone is sufficient; both should be confirmed. The absence of these licences in the current listing data is noted — contact the clinic directly to request their licence details before booking.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Sengkang Clinic Mutual Healthcare?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient stays and some day-surgery procedures rather than routine GP visits, so check your policy terms before expecting cashless cover at a GP level. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, COPD, and others — with outpatient withdrawal limits of S$500 per year (general) or S$700 per year (CDMP). Confirm with the clinic whether it is enrolled in CDMP and whether it participates in your insurer's panel before attending. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions — skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
