Parents and students enquiring about fencing classes will typically want to confirm which level or programme is appropriate — whether that is a beginner's introduction, a youth development pathway, or more competitive training. It is worth asking whether classes run as group sessions or offer one-to-one coaching, and whether enrolment is term-based or allows more flexible entry. The Tampines location is accessible to residents across the east, and the academy's islandwide coverage suggests scheduling may be available across multiple venues or times. Clarifying the syllabus structure, equipment requirements, and any trial class options before committing to a full term will help ensure the programme is the right fit.
To take the next step, reach out to SG Academy of Fencing via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, appropriate entry level for the student's age and experience, and any available trial sessions before committing to a term.

Amazing fencing club with great coaches that are patient and understanding. The club is spacious and can accommodate all the students during class. Have definitely learnt a lot of new skills and gained more experiences after joining the club!
Amazing fencing club! The club has a huge training area with 8 fencing pistes and there are many class timings to choose from, catering to fencers of different ages and levels of experience. On top of teaching fencers the fundamentals of fencing, appreciate that the coaches always pushes and motivates fencers to become a better version of ourselves with every training session (in terms of both fencing and character), cultivating a strong fencing club spirit filled with supportive clubmates.
Best fencing club in Singapore, where the coaches help you in becoming better, both as a fencer and as an individual. This is the most supportive environment I have ever experienced, with fencers of all levels helping each other and structured trainings to guide us towards our individual long-term goals. Location is really accessible and convenient too!
my boy has been fencing here for only 2 to 3 years and the commitment from the Coaches has been commendable. my boy has been through tough times at the beginning but the support showered upon him is heartfelt. I have seen the good progress through these times and I am incredibly proud of him as well. lovely coaches and really happy that we took a stab at this and fenced!
The club is a great place for epee fencers to learn more about the fundamentals and enhance one’s skills. Training space is sufficient with excellent coaches to guide fencers from all levels. Definitely have gained much experience and exposure since I joined.

Specific pricing for SG Academy of Fencing was not listed at the time of publication. As a general guide, sport enrichment classes in Singapore are typically charged on a per-session, monthly, or term basis, and some academies bundle equipment or uniform costs into enrolment fees. Sibling discounts or multi-class packages are sometimes available. It is advisable to ask directly about the full cost breakdown — including any registration fee, equipment requirements (fencing mask, jacket, foil), and whether trial sessions are charged separately. Confirm whether fees vary by class size, coach level, or age group. See the full Sport and Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
A trial class is one of the most practical ways to assess whether a fencing programme suits a child or adult learner. It gives you a chance to observe the coaching style, gauge the pace and structure of the session, and see whether the student engages with the sport. When attending a trial, look out for how the coach handles beginners, whether safety briefings are given clearly, and whether the group size allows for individual feedback. Ask whether the trial fee is credited towards the first term if you proceed. Contact SG Academy of Fencing directly to confirm their current trial class policy and availability.
Coaching credentials were not listed in the available provider data. For a fencing academy, relevant qualifications may include certification from the Singapore Fencing Federation, national or international coaching awards, or backgrounds as competitive fencers at the national or regional level. It is reasonable to ask the academy about the lead coach's competitive history, coaching certifications, and years of teaching experience. If the programme is aimed at students with competitive ambitions, ask specifically about the coach's track record in developing athletes for school or national representation. Contact SG Academy of Fencing directly to request this information before committing to a term.
