My husband and I are really glad that Coach MC is teaching my daughter, who has mild apraxia and right‑side limb weakness, how to swim. He has been incredibly patient and gentle with her. Since it’s her very first time attending swimming lessons, Coach MC adjusts each session to suit her level and abilities, using toys and various gear to make the lessons more fun and engaging. Over time, we've seen her muscles strengthen, and it makes us so happy to see how much she enjoys each lesson and improves week by week. The flexible scheduling is a big plus too. Thank you, Coach MC!

Coach MC is very patient and encouraging with my son. He used to be really afraid of the water and would only stay on the pool steps at first. Coach MC took his time to build his confidence, starting on the steps and slowly progressing with him at his own pace. Now my son is much more confident and is able to swim a little further on his own. It’s really nice to see how much he has improved and enjoys swimming more now. Thank you, Coach MC!

Our kid started just a couple of months ago at BB swimming complex with Coach MC and we are very happy to say he’s gotten so confident being in the water. He used to be hesitant in going into pools but now he’s able to do so on his own. Coach MC is always very gentle and patient with our kid and we truly appreciate it. We look forward to each class and the progress our kid is making, really recommend the school and Coach MC!

Have been sending my 5 year old for swim lessons for 8 months now and happy with the level of progress. Coach MC is very assuring and patient which helps my child to adapt and slowly grow her confidence over time. My child enjoys and looks forward to her weekly swim lessons.

I’m an adult swimmer looking to improve my stroke efficiency and found Coach MC online. He was always punctual and very generous with his time, advice, and effort — even helping to record videos of my swim for review. His experience really showed in how he explained the finer details of stroke technique, the different options available, and how small choices can affect efficiency in the water. He also went beyond just swim coaching and shared a lot of practical advice about triathlon racing and training overall, which I found extremely helpful. After working with Coach MC, I feel much more confident about how to train for my triathlon and clearer on what aspects of my swimming I should continue to focus on improving.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "SG Sink Or Swim" charge per session?

SG Sink Or Swim has not published specific per-session pricing publicly. As a mid-range ($$) provider, fees are likely in line with Singapore market norms for swimming schools, where group lessons typically run S$25–50 per session and private one-to-one lessons range from S$60–120 per session depending on duration and instructor experience. Some providers charge by the term rather than per session, and there may be a registration or materials fee on top. A trial class, if offered, may carry a separate fee or be counted towards the first month. Ask about sibling discounts or package rates when enquiring. Can I try a class before committing?

Many swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial class before parents commit to a full term or package. It is worth asking SG Sink Or Swim directly whether a trial is available, what it costs, and whether that fee is offset against subsequent enrolment. During a trial class, observe whether the instructor adjusts to the child's comfort level in the water, whether the group size allows sufficient individual attention, and whether the pace and teaching style suit your child's age and ability. A single session is usually enough to assess basic fit. If a formal trial is not offered, ask to observe a class in progress before committing to a term.

What are the instructors' credentials at "SG Sink Or Swim"?

Specific instructor credentials for SG Sink Or Swim are not listed in the available provider data. In Singapore, reputable swimming instructors typically hold certifications from bodies such as the Singapore Swimming Association, the Royal Life Saving Society, or equivalent internationally recognised programmes. Some instructors hold lifeguard certifications or have competitive swimming backgrounds. It is advisable to ask SG Sink Or Swim directly about instructor qualifications, years of teaching experience, and whether instructors hold current first-aid and water safety certifications. For younger children especially, the instructor-to-student ratio in the water matters as much as paper credentials. Take the trial class and confirm the instructor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
