Jonathan played a key role in coordinating the transformation of our house into a space we are proud to call home. He managed the moving parts well and ensured the project kept progressing. Not everything turned out perfectly, and there were moments when certain elements did not meet our expectations. What truly mattered, however, was how Jonathan responded. He listened without defensiveness, took our feedback seriously, and made the effort to rectify the issues (very quickly). That level of accountability and willingness to make things right is, in my view, one of the most important qualities in an interior designer. Renovations can be stressful, but having someone who is responsive, responsible, and committed to delivering a good final outcome makes all the difference. Jonathan demonstrated these qualities, and because of that, we now have a home that reflects what we envisioned. We strongly recommend ID Shawn! He did a great job with our resale flat renovation. Shawn was very on the ball and the work progressed smoothly and efficiently. He was very responsive and patient with our questions and gave us good practical advice on what was worth spending on. He had clear coordination and communication between his working team (plumbing/tiling/aircon/electric/capentry/painting etc.) and the works were done smoothly within a short period. He visited the site and gave us regular updates on the works throughout the renovation so we didn’t really have to take leave from office to handle the reno. He also did a good job protecting the existing furniture/ some parts of the flooring that we wanted to keep, and integrating it seamlessly with our newly renovated parts. Shawn and his whole working team (electrical/aircon/tiling/plumbing/carpentry etc..) is very experienced and they were respectful of our budget and didn’t try to upsell or pressure us into doing more works. They gave good advice and outlined the pros and cons before we made decisions. Everything was done smoothly on time and within budget and the end result is very nice. Thank you!
