About Silver Cross Medical (Holland)

About Silver Cross Medical (Holland)

Silver Cross Medical (Holland) is a general practice clinic located at 275A Holland Ave, serving patients across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It carries a 3.2/5 rating across 158 Google reviews — a robust sample, though the below-average score warrants attention and is worth reading through before booking. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration details have been provided in the listing, so prospective patients are advised to verify these directly before attending.

For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically walk in or book via WhatsApp, Phone, or the online form. A standard GP consultation covers presenting complaints, basic clinical examination, prescription where indicated, and referral to a specialist or polyclinic if the condition requires further investigation. Common investigations (blood panel, urine test, swab) may be ordered on the same visit and billed separately. Patients managing chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and others — should ask whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient chronic disease management at participating CHAS and GP clinics.

To make an appointment or check current waiting times, contact Silver Cross Medical (Holland) directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form before attending, particularly during peak morning hours.

Nice staff and environment. I Went with my daughter today and consulted Dr Sylvia , very professional, patient and knowledgeable. She also spared extra thoughts for patients and provide kind advices for us to consider. Thank you so much!

I'll like to specifically mention Ms Ong Qiwen for her exceptional service and patience. She help me to liase with the doctor to amend some errors on my medical memo not once but twice. This has enabled me to submit my medical claims. Each time I called up to amend the memo, I was greeted by her warm voice and prompt response to my request. She's a great asset to the medical industry. Good job Qiwen.

I would appreciate the option to book appointments online. As a parent of a sick young child, it’s very difficult to wait for hours at the clinic every time. It would be extremely helpful to see our real-time queue number through an app.

If I could give this place 0 stars or report it to the authorities, I would. Doctor is completely uneducated and rude just like the rest of the medical staff. I went in for a pressing medical concern (what turned out to be a life threatening issue when later confirmed by another medical professional who conducted the right procedures) and was asked by the doctor himself what I think the diagnosis is after reporting my symptoms. He proceeded to dismiss my symptoms, misdiagnose me, and prescribed irrelevant medication. Prior to actually entering the doctors office, I waited TWO hours - in which I passed out from being lightheaded (was one of the key symptoms for my diagnosis). There were five people ahead of me. Save your time and money, the other bad reviews are there for a reason.

will not ever recommend this place if you are feeling terribly unwell and require assistance urgently .. waited close to 1.45hrs and was utterly disappointed with the receptionist’s horrible service and professionalism .. was advised on an hour’s waiting time but when i went back ppl who were having appointments were slotted into the queue and the waiting time just got even longer .. asked the receptionists on what’s happening but they just seem to ignore and go about their work … just hope that the receptionists were more upfront and professional to inform us on the waiting time. this is a basic respect to customer’s valuable time as well

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Silver Cross Medical (Holland) charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with fees varying by time of day, complexity of the presenting complaint, and whether the clinic is CHAS-accredited (which provides subsidies for Singapore Citizens and PRs holding CHAS cards). Silver Cross Medical (Holland) is listed at a mid-range price point, but the exact consultation fee is not publicly stated — contact the clinic directly to confirm. Expect additional charges on top of the consultation: medications and prescriptions are billed separately, as are any investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), swabs, or urine tests. GST applies to private medical services. For chronic disease management, MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700/year is available at CDMP-participating clinics — confirm whether Silver Cross Medical (Holland) is a CDMP participant before your visit. Is Silver Cross Medical (Holland) MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licence details have been provided in this listing, so patients should verify the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before booking. The 3.2/5 rating across 158 Google reviews is a robust sample and is worth reading carefully. Reviews that mention specific doctors by name can help you gauge individual practice standards within the clinic.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Silver Cross Medical (Holland)?

For GP visits, MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment under the MediSave 500/700 scheme — up to S$500/year for general outpatient conditions, or up to S$700/year if the condition is covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm whether Silver Cross Medical (Holland) is a CDMP-registered clinic before assuming CDMP withdrawal applies. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient stays and day surgery rather than GP outpatient visits, though some IP riders include outpatient benefits — check your policy terms. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green tiers) are entitled to subsidised GP visits at CHAS-accredited clinics; confirm CHAS participation with the clinic before attending. For any planned referral or procedure arising from a GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before committing.
