Eye Specialist Clinicis an ophthalmology & optical centre in Singapore that offers eye care services and treatment for cataract, myopia and more.
The bulk of Singapore Eye Specialist Centre's bookings cover Eye Care. Because this is a focused healthcare operation, most jobs are scoped over WhatsApp first — photos of the issue, property type, and preferred slot — before a price is quoted.
Singapore Eye Specialist Centre covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give Singapore Eye Specialist Centre a strong average of 4.8/5 across 101 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.
The practical way to decide on Singapore Eye Specialist Centre is to message them directly with a short job description, property type, and any relevant photos. Direct contact means no platform middleman and usually a faster response than form-based lead submissions.
Had a viral infection which was freaking me out and tried my luck doing a walk-in. The team was able to accommodate me and I got help right away. Dr James looked after me well and got me sorted. I had some questions after a week and emailed them and got a reply with clear instructions the next day. The team were very patient and thorough with the preliminary tests as well. I can finally go back to wearing contacts instead of my bullet-proof glasses 🤓!
Had a very pleasant eye checkup today. The staff were patient, professional, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend this clinic! The eye checkup was thorough, and Dr James Ng took time to explain my results. Friendly staff and comfortable environment.
I recently visited Dr Ng for treatment of multiple upper lid chalazions, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. Dr Ng was patient, precise, and reassuring throughout the entire process. My eyelids feel so much better now. I highly recommend Dr Ng to anyone needing expert and compassionate eye care.
I was very much impressed with Dr James Ng and the clinic staff. Dr James performed a procedure for me last year and was professional and reassuring before, during and at the follow up appointments. Highly recommended.
What an experience! Never coming back. :) Tests This is a great place if you want to do a bunch of unnecessary eye tests done by what looks like junior staff. Are they students? Are they interns? Doesn’t matter, they’re nice enough. That’ll be $500. I wanted to spend the money on something else but I least I know about my normal retina and eye pressure? I was here to get my stye checked, btw. Waiting time It’s a great place if you want to wait 1.5 hours for your doctor. I don’t know why I set an appointment at 11am only to get access to a doctor at 12:30pm. Oh, and the consultation? It took 5 minutes. I kinda wanted to have the stye drained since it's been two months but they don't think I'm covered by insurance. So no treatment for me! Front desk It’s a great looking place, fancy area, fancy tech, fancy façade. But the concierge experience feels like I’m in a third-world country’s government hospital. After giving them a heads-up that I wanted to use my health insurance, signed the form, etc., they had the audacity to ask me: how do you want to self-pay the $500 bill today? I’m like, what? I said I was going to use insurance. They said they couldn’t find me in the system. Cash or Paynow? They had 1.5 hours to tell me ahead of time that they couldn't find me in the system and that I’d have to self-pay. Eventually they realized they typed the wrong IC number and found me in the system, with little apology. The cherry on top was how one of the front desk staff (still unapologetic) was keeping me from leaving the clinic to make sure there wasn’t a co-pay policy, as if my motive for coming was to run away with an unpaid bill. I wish I were that cunning, lady. Conclusion This place is very fancy on the outside but has a rotten system inside. I can’t speak about the treatment of more advanced eye conditions, but if it’s a simple and superficial issue, I suggest you go somewhere else. Oh, my stye? It’s still there.
