About Singapore Polo Club (Pony Academy)
Singapore Polo Club's Pony Academy, based at 80 Mount Pleasant Road, offers holiday camp programmes for young riders across Singapore. The provider is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.3/5 rating across 474 Google reviews, a robust sample that lends reasonable confidence to that score. Pricing is indicated at a mid-to-upper range ($$); specific session or camp fees were not available at the time of listing.
Families typically begin by enquiring about which holiday camp intake suits their child's age and riding level — no prior experience is usually required for introductory camps, though more advanced programmes may ask about previous riding exposure. It is worth confirming whether the camp runs as a group session or with smaller cohorts, the duration of each riding session within the camp day, and what ground-handling or theory components are included alongside time in the saddle. As camps are scheduled around school holidays, places fill quickly; checking availability and confirming the term commitment, cancellation policy, and whether any equipment such as a helmet and jodhpurs must be sourced independently will help avoid surprises on the first day.
To take the next step, contact Singapore Polo Club's Pony Academy directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about upcoming holiday camp dates, age and level requirements, and current pricing before places are taken.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Had lunch at the club. Food was above average .. taste and cost ( charged at non members rate). The ambience was nice as we sit alfresco under tan with lush greenery in front.

The club is located next to the Policy Academy grounds at Thomson / Mount Pleasant Road. Polo is of course the main sport promoted at the club but there is also a swimming pool on-site. There is a restaurant called Verandah serving good local cuisine and also a retail shop Polo Loft selling Polo related products.
I was very impressed with the Uraguayan steak. One of the best tasting steaks I’ve had for that price range. In fact, it beats some of the more expensive restaurants I’ve been to in terms of flavour. This place is open to public but best to go at times when less members show up because it can get crowded.

Singapore Polo Club (Pony Academy) is priced at a mid-to-upper range ($$), though specific per-session or per-camp fees were not published at the time of this listing. Holiday camp costs in this category typically vary depending on the number of riding sessions included, the duration of the camp, and whether meals or equipment hire are bundled in. Trial or taster session availability varies by programme. For holiday camps, some providers offer a single-day introductory session before a full week is booked; it is worth asking Singapore Polo Club's Pony Academy directly whether this option exists for their current intake. When assessing fit, consider whether the session length is appropriate for your child's age and attention span, whether the instructor-to-rider ratio feels safe and attentive, and whether your child's confidence around horses is matched to the level of the camp on offer. A first session is as much about temperament fit as riding skill.
Specific instructor credentials were not listed at the time of this entry. For equestrian programmes, relevant qualifications typically include certifications from recognised bodies such as the British Horse Society (BHS) or the Singapore Equestrian Federation, as well as first-aid training given the nature of the activity. It is advisable to ask Singapore Polo Club's Pony Academy directly about their instructors' formal qualifications, years of teaching experience, and the safety protocols in place during sessions — including helmet and equipment standards, maximum rider-to-instructor ratios, and their emergency procedures.
